4.0 out of 5 stars Great for your little princess
We just started receiving this magazine and my 4 year old loves it. If your daughter is obsessed with Disney princesses like mine, then this is the magazine for her. It has several princess stories, coloring pages, and a few activities. This month has one cooking and one sewing activity just to give you an idea.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids - not for parents!
My 5 year old daughter loves to receive her magazine. However, it is loaded with ads for dolls and other Disney items. The stories are great and she loves to look at the pictures sent in by other readers. But, because there is so much advertising- I really don't feel that it is worth the price. I will be looking for a different magazine once my subscription has run out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daughter loves it!, August 31, 2004

Our daughter, soon to be 5, recieves this magazine as a gift from her Grandma, and she loves it! She loves disney princess, and this magazine is great for her. There are usually several stories in comic book style that we read together, in addition to coloring pages, a full page poster, and some have come with a page of princess stickers. She always looks foward to it coming in the mail. We will definately renew it for her next year.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pricey!, January 11, 2006

And I am not talking about the subscription! My problem with this magzine is that there is SO much advertising in it - all from Disney. I know it's their magazine, so they're entitled to do it, but my daughter did (some of) the activities, and then treated it like a catalog - "Mommy, can we get this?, Mommy - look at the movie coming out!". We switched to Sparkle magazine which has NO advertising in it - just D.W., Angelina Ballerina, and other favorite girl characters. Yes, it's got all the Disney Princesses, but you may feel like the evil stepmother after having to say no to all the "I want"s.

4.0 out of 5 stars Too much advertising but my almost 5yr old "princess" loves it., December 19, 2005

My daughter recd this for her birthday from a relative. I agree with previous reviewer about the advertising. Regardless, this does make my "princess" feel important when mail comes specifically for her. We read the stories together and have even shared the magazine with a neighbor for 'rainy day' activities. However, when investigating giving this magazine as a gift for a cousin, we found it on Overstock for $19.99 (~$6+ cheaper than Amazon.). Our approach to the advertising was to call it what it is, a commercial to get you to buy something. My daughter understands that now and has stopped asking for everything she sees inside. Would have been 5 stars w/o adverts.

My neice loves this. I got this for her 4th Birthday. She started reading when she was 3, so this is great to continue honing her skills.

Our daughter has had a subscription to this magazine for the last two years and we just renewed the subscription for another year. She will be 6 in a month and looks forward to receiving a new issue every other month. She loves reading the new princess stories in each issue and doing the object finds along with the other activities. I look forward to reading it with her as well. It is a well written magazine with fun activities.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Niece Loves This!, December 22, 2006
This review is from: Disney Princess (Magazine)
I got this as a gift for my niece. Her mother said that when the first one came, she hugged it to her chest and said "I love this, oh I love this!"

She sat down for hours and did every puzzle, word game, coloring activity, and whatever else was in there until every single page from front cover to back cover had been marked on, done, colored, whatever. And this is not a girl to sit still and quiet. For my sister it was a 2 hour blessing.

The second one just came and she did the same thing all over again. Truly worth the money for Disney Princess fans.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love Disney Princess!, May 20, 2005
This review is from: Disney Princess (Magazine)
I love Disney Princess, and I read this kind of magazines in China. In China, the magazines of Disney Princess are on shelf after the 10th day of a month. The magazines are colourful and wonderful, I buy them every month. There are many Princess' stories in it and something teaches girls how to be a grace little princess. And there are some toys and DIY go with the magazines. I expect to buy a Disney Princess Magazine every month! But I'm so afraid that my family and my friends will laugh at me, I'm 18 years old after all! I know this kind of magazines are for very little children, but I love Disney Princess very much, and I think that I buy them only because they are Disney-printed.
