This pail would be better if it didn't open at the bottom. The plastic tab that is supposed to keep it together does not latch and the candy falls out. After using packing tape to hold the bottom together, this pail worked as originally expected.

I knew this was more of a "pail" than the "purse" my kid thought it was, but she still likes it and will enjoy trick or treating with it. So, if she were writing the review, it'd probably be a "B+/A-". However, when I have to add duct tape to something right out of the box, I tend not to review it with very high marks.
The problem with this pail is that it has a latch in the middle, on the bottom, that allows the bottom to come apart for the purpose of emptying out the contents. I would have thought that the big, 5" hole in the top would have been sufficient for that. But the latch is flimsy and I pictured it coming apart easily under the pressure of a half-bucket of candy. Not willing to risk the bucket's fortitude, I added a strip of duct tape to the inside. Problem solved.
Shipping was also high (almost as much or more than the pail), but what's to be done about that, given the volume of the item.
