Disney Sing It Bundle with Microphone

I got this for my daughters at Christmas after they enjoyed playing Rock Band on the 360. I was surprised by how much they enjoyed it and even more surprised by how much my wife and I enjoyed it!

The game is set up for people to sing along with music videos, scoring by hitting the right notes at the right time. Very much like karaoke without the crowds... unless it's Party Night! :) There are several modes that allow for two players to sing at the same time, rotating in and out of the song or singing different parts. Putting two young girls in front of the TV with HSM 2 songs and telling them that they are competing is great fun!

There are some downsides, the biggest of which is that there aren't a lot of songs so the variety gets stale. Why aren't there a bunch of song downloads available like Rock Band?

Overall a really good value and a lot of fun. Beating your daughter at Ali and AJ songs rocks.

Highly recommended family game.

The actual gameplay system is really solid. It's more like Lips or Singstar than Rock Band, and that's great news for casual gamers.

Works with Rock Band Microphone.

Only having 35 tracks is a real letdown though.

I was really impressed with Disney Sing It since they used the real music videos rather than computer renderings. The interface didn't take too long to get used to. After helping my daughter a couple of times she was well on her way to singing like a pop star, for hours!

While the music video plays the vocal staff shows where your pitch is and where it needs to be. There are three levels of play and single or multi-player modes. There is a also a song meter under the words showing how far you are through the song.

After only completing one songs she had already earned 50 gamer points, so Xbox 360 gamer score is really easy to increase through this game.

No matter how many songs she sung, she never got "fail" which was a familiar frustration with Rock Band at first.

The microphone is pretty good quality and the cord is really long.

My only complaint with the game is that when it first came out Disney promised additional songs would be available for download but then decided to not pursue further product development for Sing It. It would not be such a stretch for Disney to make some of their popular music videos available for purchase and download from the Xbox Live Marketplace. As it is, some of my daughters favorite Disney singers are not available in this product and I found 35 songs to be quite limiting. The limited 35 songs ages this product and can cause some kids to lose interest and move on to competing products.

Songs they know and want to sing makes this a good gift. Sometimes the microphone doesn't pick up somebody singing, which is why this gets 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought this for my 8 year old, she loves it and to my surprise so does her 15 year old sister. We need a second microphone.

I bought this for my daughter, she had no problem picking it up and playing the game, but quickly bored of it and hasn't picked it up again. Don't come looking at this title for Disney music either, it's their pop stars singing their normal songs, not Disney film or TV songs.

We love this game! The song selection is great and my 6 year old loves Disney. She can't read the words as they go across the screen, but she has memorized them and has a blast! Get it with the microphone--we did and decided we wanted another, but couldn't find one on it's own.

If you have a Hannah or a High School Musical fan they'll love it.My daughter gets the whole family involved and we have a blast.

i am a kid (almost ten) and i just got this game a few days ago. i love this game, and after a few hours i could hit higher notes! literally. it really needs some more songs though. i have mastered all of the songs, and i need more! some of the songs are a little challenging... she's no you by jesse mccartney is very fast. my five year old brother loves singing the choruses to songs like "getch'ya head in the game" and "bet on it." i think it's a great game overall, lots of fun!

Bought this for my 7-year-old little girl...she loves it. It is all she plays...
