A wonderful concept, but not quite 5-star materials...,

Disney Sing It: Pop Hits Bundle This is a totally wonderful concept... but just falls short of the 5-star mark. First, I want to say that I LOVE that the background of the game has the actual videos for the songs... not some goofy cartoon characters "mouthing" the words, etc. However, as many reviewers have already pointed out, these are not the most "popular" songs produced by these artists, which makes it harder to sing along with them. The songs are NOT easy to sing, especially if you don't know the words/tunes beforehand. Also, we already own Boogie Superstar, which we LOVE... so thought this would be fun too, as in this game you can sing with two microphones as a duet/helping each other. However, the microphone that comes with THIS bundle is not very good... doesn't work as well as the Boogie Superstar microphone at all. Half the time, this Disney mic doesn't pick up your singing, so you end up "missing" the notes, meanwhile my daughter who is using the Superstar mic is getting great scores on the same song. Lastly, although the Superstar mic has a long cord on it that plugs into the Wii... the packaging on this Disney bundle led me to believe that the microphone here would be cordless... NOT SO! It also has a super long cord, which is just more tangle to deal with. :(So between the sub-standard (and misleading picture above) microphone, and the more obscure song list included with this game, I can only rate it 3 stars instead of the 5 star potential it should have had. Again, I DO like the duet option and the music video backgrounds, but wish the interface with the people playing the game was a bit better thought-out/quality.

Grandmother's Perspective,

Disney Sing It: Pop Hits Bundle is perfect for kids who love to sing along with the radio or music videos. My two granddaughters, 5 and 13, love it. It's something they can play by themselves, without adult assistance. In fact, they won't let the adults play! If you have older kids who are serious gamers, they would probably tire of this quickly, but it's great for youngsters (and their parents & grandparents) who are looking for something easy and fun!

Gets boring pretty fast...,

This product is cool and can be a lot of fun. However, it gets boring pretty fast due to the songs. There are not that many songs and probably half of the songs I have never heard before. At this point there is no way to add new songs and singing the same song over and over is only fun for so long. Otherwise, great game.

I bought this for my 13 yr old, and she is not familiar with many of the songs, but she does like it and she plays it sometimes. I think I should have gotten the original version instead of the pop hits. Also, my daughter wants myself and her grandmother to take turns with her, so I with they'd include a song that older people could relate to.

This game is fun the first few times that you play it. Once you have sung all the 12 songs, it is repetitive.

We purchased Wii Sing It for our daughter who recently turned 10. She had a blast at her sleepover using this with the girls. They spent a lot of time singing songs over and over and "judging" performances. I tried it just a couple of times and noticed that you could still hear the real singer, so it wasn't exactly like karaoke, but the girls didn't seem to care about that. Also, there are different levels and I didn't try them all out. You have to hold the microphone fairly close to get decent sound, but again, none of the partiers seemed to mind. If you child is into the latest pop songs for tweens, then this might be the ticket.

My granddaughter saw this advertized on TV and it was on her Christmas list. She and her friends have been singing up a storm with it and never seem to tire of it. They're learning all the words to even the ones they didn't know. Thanks so much

We initially purchased this because my 6 year old daughter loves Taylor Swift and she is on the cover. Christmas morning when she opened it, she immediatly wanted to play it and not open the rest of her presents. She is a little slow in catching the words b/c she is only learning to read, but I can see it has lots of potential. My 4 year old really enjoys it too.
