I'm a flute teacher with a large studio, and use this book occasionally for sight-reading. My students enjoy playing something familiar. I agree with the other review that it is not a book for first year students. The range is quite wide, and the rhythms are not simple. The key signatures are true to the original, so several flats are common.

I played through it myself when it first arrived. The CD is accurate to the book. It offers the choice of accompaniment with or without the melody, which is helpful for learning. The band accompaniment is less "cheesy" than some out there. It sounds like live as opposed to synthesized instruments.

A very nice collection of familiar tunes.

I purchased this book for my 7th grader who has been playing for 3 years. She enjoys the chance to play songs that she likes. I recommend for anyone who loves the Disney music.

The music in this book is really great and really fun. I've been playing flute for over 7 years so it's pretty easy, but it's enjoyable to play none the less. There are lots of well known songs from great Disney movies. It's a great music book for Disney music lovers. I would recommend it to anyone who likes playing Disney music, even easy stuff.

Bought this for a high school freshman flute player. She loves everything Disney and she really enjoys this.

I do love this book when I need to practice my flute especially during marching season when I am practicing for Color Guard and just practicing my flute briefly :) I hope this was helpful!
