My 6 y/o has played Tony Hawk with his older cousins and I never really liked the "grung" characters and the subliminal (in my opinion)music. Then we rented this Disney game and were thrilled with a great alternative for younger kids! They can do all the tricks, wrack up lots of points, and unlock the higher levels. Lots of fun settings and characters! He really liked creating his own characters that look like real kids! Good clean fun for the younger kids who don't need to be exposed to Tony Hawk yet! If younger kids can quickly beat this game, then perhaps they are spending too much time in front of the screen! Great for the younger kids! Thanks, Disney!

I don't want to rain on the parade, but every time we rent the thing we have a blast My 6 and 8 year olds have re-bonded, and they appreciate the Goofy wipe-out ("Hoo Hoo! Garsh!" etc.) over the unrealistic, but nonetheless disturbing blood geysers of T.H. I'm buying it because I value family.

First of all, let me say that this game is incredibly watered down. Bails feel unbelivably censored. Even the younger audience will become bored with this. The game has a control scheme like TONY HAWK 4, but isn't nearly as fun. Despite kids wanting a game with Disney characters, it isn't worth buying such a simple game. Even EVOLUTION SKATEBOARDING, from the same company, plays better than this. If you are buying this for a young child because they can't have a TEEN-RATED Tony Hawk game, give them KELLY SLATER'S PRO SURFER, or just have them wait until something else good comes out.

This game isn't bad, despite people thinking anything Disney is horrible. It has very similar mechanics as the Tony Hawk series, but it falls short in the game variet of the THPS series. That doesn't mean it isn't fun, however. The game will be more fun than THPS4 in your first time through, but it won't keep you playing forever. All in all, it's a good rental/buy if you're a Disney fan... if not, just get Tony Hawk.

My 6 year old pick this game out himself and has been playing everyday before he goes to school and the the last activity he does at night. He just loves the action of this game and to be truthful we love playing it with him. I recommend this game to the young at heart.

Disney Sports Skateboarding is a hot game. This game is basically just thrashing about beautiful over worlds while trying to scram checkpoints, bash obstacles, grind rails, pick-up emeralds, and finish all before time runs out! This mode also features "New Skateboards" that must be picked up by riding over! This game deserves better, I'm a weak skateboard player, so it's perfectly suited!!!
