Purchased this as a ballet bag for my 3 year old as something unique from the other girls in her class. Bag is well-made and durable. Doesn't have a flat bottom so I don't know if it would work for older dancers or those carrying lots of stuff, but it seems like it would hold a decent amount. (Holds her dance outfit, slippers, and clothes and a few toys for her baby brother at least.) Size is larger than I expected. It's really too big for her now, proportionally, but she can certainly carry it and it will work as a tote bag for many years. That probably wouldn't be true of the little girl ballet bags I've seen.
