4.0 out of 5 stars He loves it
I found the Thomas the Train ready bed from Walmart.com. It came with a battery operated pump and several different valves. The valve for the bed was taped to the mattress. I should have bought another for my 18 month old. She felt left out. Set up was easy and when it was done they both wanted to go "night night" It fits easy into the travel bag provided. I can't...

We bought this and the Dora bed for our 3 year old twin daughters while at Grandma's. They loved the look and design, and I will say it is very easy to inflate and deflate. Neither of the girls can get comfortable nor sleep well in these beds. After one night, both beds were almost deflated. By the middle of the night, one or both girls are in bed with us. We have...

I bought the Winnie-the-Pooh bed for my daughter to use at our camp and she loves it! It is very easy to inflate/deflate, the cover is easily removable for washing, and the blanket is attached. I've not had any problems with the bed deflating from her sleeping in it (she's currently 28 lbs.). The only downfall of this bed is the safety side bumpers. I would not count on them preventing your child from rolling out of the bed - I do need to occassionaly check to make sure that my daughter hasn't as she has done it twice since I bought the bed - so be sure the place the bed in an area where your child won't get injured.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, April 2, 2007
This review is from: Disney Winnie the Pooh Toddler Ready Bed Inflatable
We love this bed. It fits our 2 year old perfectly and she doesn't roll out because of the bumpers on either side. We take it with us whenever we leave the house and we never have a problem with her napping in strange places since it's the same, easy to transport, bed... Highly recommended.

I bought this item directly from the OrangeOnions website and paid the $19.67 for Fed Ex 3 day shipping (The bed is for grandma's house in Florida). Not only did it NOT arrive in 3 days (it came on the 6th day, two days before we were to leave) the customer service was the worst. I called twice. The first time they said they didn't know why it hadn't arrived, but they'd find out and would call me back, which they didn't. Irate, I called the next day, and the customer rep said they didn't know why it didn't arrive in time, but I'd get it that day, and she'd refund the extra shipping charge. Needless to say, the bed finally arrived, but the refund didn't. My advice: The product is excellent. My 2 1/2 year old LOVES this bed--her first time sleeping out of a crib. She sleeps great in it. Buy the product, but don't buy it from OrangeOnions. If you do, don't waste your money on express shipping. Just cross your fingers and hope you don't have any problems.

1.0 out of 5 stars Won't inlate as stated on box, July 5, 2009

According to the box, the mattress should inflate in 2 minutes. I gave it over 10 minutes and it still wouldn't inflate completely even though it doesn't seem to have a hole in it. Had I kept the pump going any longer, the battery would have died or the motor would have over-heated. Also, when considering the size make sure you factor in room for a pillow. In other words, if this is for a child who's 45" tall and the mattress says it's for upto 48", don't assume that it's big enough. Not happy with this product at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ready for "Night Night", March 4, 2009

We actually have purchased two ready beds. One is at Grandma's for all her little visitors and ours is for travel and guest's children. It has really worked out great. We have washed the outer covering twice with no problems even though the material is a little thin. Boys and Girls like the Pooh theme and the easy to get in bedding. It is an air mattress so the bumper sides keep you from rolling somewhat but the active sleepers may not be contained. We would recommend the ready bed for the infrequent use that we give it, not an every day bed. Sleep well!

My small 3 year old just LOVES her travel bed (even wanted to sleep on it when we got home from vacation). It's great that it comes with a washable cover (sheet plus blanket) and it's so cute! It also comes with it's own inflation device which makes this just so easy and fast to set up. Just need a small pillow to go with it.

She loved it. We got it in time for our trip. And although our little girl doesn't usually like the sleeping arrangements that we come up with when we travel, she slept through the night the entire 2 weeks we were gone. I would highly recommend

4.0 out of 5 stars Too big for pack-n-play yet too small for a bed for vacation, December 20, 2008

We were looking for something my 2 1/2yr old could sleep in at grandma's house because she is too big for her pack-n-play, but really too small for a big bed. This ready bed is easy to assemble and blow up. I loved that it comes with a battery operated pump. It took me about 4 min. to set up. My daughter loves it. I do have to say, it took some practice for her to actually sleep in it rather than just play in it. She got out of the bed multiple times. We bought it early for her to practice sleeping in it on a "sleepover" with her sister to make sure she would sleep in it. She does now. She loves that there is a headboard like in her crib to push her head up against. I would recommend this product for someone looking for a vacation/sleepover bed.
