My son is a HUGE Buzz fan. We call his room a "Buzzroom" instead of a bedroom (there's an "Infinity and Beyond" mural and stars and planets and LGMS). He loves Buzz.

But yet, he doesn't love this toy as much as I thought he would. I think because it is a bit bulky and cumbersome. He does like the voice sounds and the laser. He plays with it quite a bit.

I do not like the limited motion in the arms and legs. The wings are hard to push/ latch back into place. It's cool how this bulky toy can stand on it's own. I miss the karate chop action as the movie describes.

I'm glad I bought this Buzz action figure, but I feel they could have done more with it (like they designers held back to cut the costs).

We bought the Toy Story and Beyond Buzz in October 2006 at the Disney Store for our 4-year-old. I concur with "Average Joe's" review, except for one thing: ours has wings. They don't rotate into place like on the movie, but extend out horizontally. They seem a little flimsy but have held up so far. Other than that, the toy is very true to the movie character except there is no "mission log" door on his forearm, and the laser sound effect is a little different. The big red button on his chest does not deploy his wings (as in the movie), there is a small button on the back for that. Most frustrating aspect of this toy is that his joints are so floppy that he can't stand on his own. My son loves the toy overall.

My 3-year-old little boy loves his Buzz Lightyear. It was expensive, but it's worth it. It was one of the best toys he got for Christmas. It moves and talks and keeps him entertained for long periods of time. I'd buy it again!

This toy is terrible! My son received a "real buzz" for Christmas, but unfortunately, he submerged it in water. So we returned it to Target, and ordered this one to replace it. As soon as I opened this one, I knew it was a knock off and not the real thing. The voice does not even sound like Buzz and after having the real Buzz from "Target," this one does not even compare. He only says three different phrases, the real one said at least 20! The quality of the toy does not feel sturdy as did the other one. I feel we have been ripped off and now that I am trying to contact this seller to return, they will not get back to me. Do yourself a favor, go to the nearest Target, buy one there and not this one! You will not regret it!

The fact that it looks like Buzz satisfied my son, but it is not a quality product.

Replica Quality - I don't know if is from this specific dealer (ABCTOY4ME), but there are details on the toy that are significantly different than the cartoon. The gloves are all grey, missing the purple/green accents; the laser does not sound the same; there is no hatch on the arm for the star command log; the button on the top does not open the helmet; the wings open horizontally, rather than swinging out from the bottom

Mechanics - this is the worst part of the toy and very frustrating for my toddler. It is top heavy, making it almost impossible for even an adult to stand it up; the wings must be closed at the same time - otherwise closing one wing at a time makes the other pop out; the helmet does not stay closed; the top is so heavy, that he consistently rotates at the mid-section.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the product, but these are probably only things that an adult would notice. If you don't mind these faults, the toy is close enough to the cartoon, but you may want to research to see if these problems are unique to the distributor.

I bought this for my 2-1/2 yr old son for Christmas. He enjoys playing with it, but I wish it had been packaged better. The packaging wasn't the greatest, so the helmet got damaged during shipping. (Not enough to warrant the hassle of returning it; it got scratched up a little.)

Ok...whats up with the re-packaging?? I agree with a previous poster, "Did I get a used toy for the price of a new one"? The toy was not secure, but in the box. It was then put in a clear bag, and closed with a garbage tie. Not what I would expect from a new toy!! Usually, new toys are impossible to remove from the box, not this one!! This toy was also very scratched up around the legs, and looks like one of the screws were loose. Could this be a refurbished toy? If so, shame on them for duping us!!!

My son gets very frustrated with the wings. They only stay shut when they want too. My husband and I are getting a little tired of him crying because he can't close the wings. The really bad part is, we can't either.

There is a button on the front that does absolutely nothing. Whats the button for?

It also is very difficult to stand up, another thing that frustrates my son!!

My plan was to exchanged this toy for one that might be new!! Not sure after reading the reviews... it seems all the Buzz's have the same complaints.

Guess I will let him keep his "used" toy even if it breaks next week...

Buyer Beware!!! Not worth all the Buzz!

It is ok. The wings don't work so great going in an out of their slots, and the bottom body moves and twists all the way around. My boys being 2 and 3 have a hard time getting him to stand because the bottom goes every which way. They love it though and that is what really counts.

I purchased this toy from disney store in the oaks mall but this was a gift to me from disneyland and I was very happy with this toy.I have read reviews about the first one having problem with the wings but this one has no trouble with the wings at all!The wings are okay on this one and I have no trouble with closing the wings and the fact that they did something really good on this toy and it is a fine toy.My only complainment about this toy is that the head dosen't move at all and is very stiff and I believe that the manufacter disneystore itself made the head really stiff and I read reviews about that the first one moves the head and why not this one but let me see if I can move the head........Nope I can't move it and it just stays stiff but I can live with that.When I press his voice simulator,he speaks very loud and has a huge voice and I can imagine that he can shout to the whole world.This toy is really good and very cool and you can ONLY find this toy at disneystore and that is the only place you'll find it but get it cheap at disneystore for only $19.50 than online because they sell it for $40 or $30 bucks and that is really expensive but you can always pick up this buzz lightyear toy at disneystore and online and this is the ultimate buzz lightyear figure ever!If you're looking for a better buzz then this is the one and you will have no trouble over this toy except the voice is very loud so I bet parents can get iratated by the sound but at least there is nothing wrong with it and if you buy this toy,you won't regret it well you may regret for all the freetime you lose because you can't put it down but it is an okay toy and is the best!

Toy Story 1 & 2 have become a part of our home for our two grandboys ages 3 & 4. Their imaginations have been released to "infinity and beyond". The Buzz action figure is durable, bendable and provides hours of fun. It's a little hard to sleep with but they don't seem to mind. The working parts and buttons are just the right size for little hands. I love it when they can play abd really get into "character" for hours on end.. very fun toy.
