1.0 out of 5 stars Fun Game ruined by greed October 13, 2013

I absolutely loved Where's My Water, as well as Where's My Perry and Where's my Mickey, and was excited to hear that for the 2nd anniversary of the original release they were going to launch a sequel, Where's My Water 2. Well, after having to wait for it to be released on android, several weeks after the apple launch, i downloaded the game.

First level was similar to the other games, but the next thing to pop up is a "connect to facebook" button so you can "see how your friends did" I do not have, nor desire a facebook account.

This was followed by a different type of level - a "duck rush", which is similar to a balooney level in Where's my Perry, where you do not see the whole screen, as it keeps on moving, and you need to guess where to send the water. At the end of the level was another box telling you to connect to facebook to see how your friends did. Starting to wonder what sort of kickback they are getting from facebook, or if Disney is a silent owner.

Now there are little ducks with facebook flags, and out of curiosity, I clicked on it. Another box telling you to connect to facebook, and if you do, you receive free energy refill (more on this later), get a "helping hand' from your friends, and here is where I started to have doubts about this game, receive keys from your friends to help you reach new levels. Again, no facebook here, so apparently there will come a point where I will not be able to play this game, or will it cost me money to continue. Won't happen.

3.0 out of 5 stars Should have just charged for it. October 17, 2013

If you liked the first game then you will like this one. As said in another review, The first 30 levels are free but to finish the game you have to spend 3 dollars. Why not just charge that much to begin with? Even so it's not worth that amount. I think 2 dollars, or even 1 dollar, is more then fair for an app like this.

2.0 out of 5 stars Have to pay money finish game. October 14, 2013

I love Where's my Water, Perry, and Mickey. However, this game is a terrible follow up. Unfortunately, to progress in the game, you need to pay money or connect with Facebook friends. I originally installed this game for my child, who (very appropriately) does not even have a Facebook account. So the first 30 levels are free (with constant, in-you-face suggestions to connect with Facebook) but the final levels 31-50 are not available to you without buying three keys priced at $0.99 each. I would have paid for the game as a whole, but am so turned off by how they produced this game that I have no desire to purchase "keys." Sorry Disney. Good game, horrible marketing.

3.0 out of 5 stars I would have gladly paid for the game... October 23, 2013

Let me start off by saying I love the original Where's My Water?. I hum the theme song. It's easily worth the 99 cents. I love Where's My Perry? and was happy to pay 99 cents for it when it came out. Even people who are unfamiliar with Phineas and Ferb would enjoy Where's my Perry.
So needless to say when I saw Where's my Water 2, I was excited and downloaded it immediately! The levels are just as fun and challenging as in previous games. The "share on Facebook" option after every level gets annoying, but I can live with that. What makes me angry is that they want you to either harass your Facebook friends or pay money to unlock the next stage of the game. I would have gladly paid 99 cents for this game, which is what the "keychain" costs. "So why not just buy the stupid keychain?" you ask? Because, there is no promise that I will have the rest of the game unlocked for me. In fact, I'm fairly sure if I purchase this now, I will have the opportunity to buy another keychain in 30 levels or so. No thank you.
In the original Where's my Water, they told you that buying now gets you all the updates forever. Even if they don't update it ever anymore, there were TONS of levels to keep me entertained for hours. I refuse to pay every single time a game adds updates.

This game is worth the download since it's a free game, but it looks like greed is taking its toll on this otherwise wonderful franchise.

3.0 out of 5 stars Please Read November 17, 2013

Okay so I have played previous games such as Where's my Water, Where's my Perry, and stuff. I personnly didn't care for the new Where's my Water 2. Sure its free so fill free to download it but I personnely like Where's my Perry instead. Where's my Perry has extreamly funny scenes and levels, even if you don't watch the show. If you haven't played or downloaded any of these I recomend Where's my Perry. In the games you have to cut dirt so that water can be led to an area where the gauges get full or the the crocidille gets his water for his shower. You can't just have one drop of the water though, you have to get a significant amount of it to finish the level. The second version of Where's my Water I didn't like, but some people might find it fun.
