Kindergarten-Grade 2-These two series entries read like the "Dick and Jane" of travel books. Disney World is an unabashed tourist promotion, primarily listing the rides and attractions in the four theme parks. Mexico touches briefly on national history, but it is essentially a frivolous tourist guide ("Wear sunscreen. The sun is very bright in Mexico. If you burn, you will be miserable"). Even the illustrations are disappointing-the photographs are out of focus, and the computer-generated maps and vignettes are amateurish.

From a young age, Cari made up stories. One of her favorite places to make up stories was on her grandpa and grandma's farm in southern Minnesota. There, she would find a quiet little spot in the corn field, or on a swing and let her imagination wander.

Cari has lived in Minnesota, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. She now resides in Evergreen, Colorado with her husband, John, their four boys, two horses, and a very energetic runaway dog named Koki.

Cari loves to visit libraries and schools and talk about the power of the imagination and the joy of reading.

Besides writing and reading, Cari enjoys running, skiing, riding horses, yoga, and playing with Playmobil toys.

I CANNOT believe I paid... for this book. I was looking for a book of photos of all the rides at WDW and this one had an average one photo PER PARK. Just horrible.
