I first saw this film in the public domain section on a website and thought how wonderful it was to see how the Barstow family from CT won a competition to win a trip to Disneyland and the film tells the complete story of the family from the time of winning the competition right through to visiting Disneyland and all stops in between I would highly recommend this film if anybody has an interest in Disneyland or just vintage films in general. I look forward to purchasing this film and seeing the Bonus 20 minute making of the film and seeing the family take a look back in 2009 as I think this will be a nice experience to see 53 years after the film was made.

I've seen some of the fantastic amateur family films by Robbins Bartsow, and I want to buy this just to show apprecation for the work that went into digitizing and organizing them, and making them available here.

I've never seen Amazon's "on demand" production of DVDs, I sincerely hope that it doesn't mean that the author has to create the DVDs, wasting his valuable time instead digitizing more of the old films! And I hope the author's cut from the sale is reasonable.
