5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!
Hi! I am 13 years old, and I bought this CD. This is my first of the Disney Mania CD's, but I've heard some old covers on Youtube etc.
I really liked this CD. It really made me want to watch Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.

3.0 out of 5 stars Repeat Repeat Repeat
I was really disappointed when I heard all of the songs. I was even more surprised to find out the artists except Demi Lavoto got to pick the songs they wanted to sing. The only ones that stood out were:

Bella Note- I loved this song and I finally got to here a version I actually like besides the one in Lady and the Tramp.

Stand Out- Mitchel...

I really liked this CD. It really made me want to watch Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.
Some of theese "disney singers" from tvshows are acually really good singers. But some of them are just "I am a disney girl and wanna sing" type of singers. I was really impressed by Bridgit Mendler and Tiffany Thornton, but I really didn't like Anna Maria Pere de Taglé and Alyson Stoner.
In my opinion the best songs on the CD are:
Savannah with "Little Wonders"(Meet the Robinsons)
Tiffany Thornton with "If I never knew you"(Pocahontas)
Bridgit Mndler with "When She Loved Me"(Toy Story 2)

I dfinitly recommend this CD!

Stand Out- Mitchel Musso did a great job with this song. I love the Goofy Movie and was so happy someone broke the mode and did something different.

When She Loved Me- Bridget Mendler really did a nice job with this song. I think the only complaint I have with her version is that it sounds exactly the same as the version in Toy Story 2.

Now the songs that did not stand out...literally:

I just can't wait to be King- Repeat...

Trust In Me- Selena Gomez is a gem but she made this song boring. I liked it the first time I heard it but it became dull after listening to it a third time.

Real Gone - Repeat and irritating!

If I Never Knew You- I really like Tiffany Thornton...really really like her. Sadly unlike the song she sang for Snow White which was awesome this was a dud for her. Also...this song was written as a duet. She could have found someone to sing with her...ANYONE!! I really like this song and I almost bought it on itunes. Thank god a friend let me borrow this cd.

Good Enough- Nice

Little Wonders- Not my favorite but beautiful.

Under the Sea- Repeat and I don't care how cute Booboo Stewart is he should stick to acting. One of the worst versions of this song...EVER!!

Her Voice- Drew Seely you disgust me! Poor version of this song and its the first time on a disneymania cd. Again Drew Seely you disgust me!

Part of Your World- Repeat and if I hear another version of this song again I'm going to scream! The girl can sing but she had other choices. Heck why not try something from Oliver and Company? Or The Princess and The Frog? Don't get me wrong she did a nice job but disney stars are making this song go stale. ENOUGH!

What I've Been Looking For- Finally I get to hear this girl sing and what comes out of her mouth. This song. I like all three HSM movies but really. No other choices...

Gift of a Friend- I like this song but I would have been happier if they had let her sing something else.

Hakuna Matata- Debby Ryan....I have no words for this horrible repeat version period.

As you can see I was not happy with this cd. It could have been better and never again let the stars do the picking...except the smart ones who don't repeat songs from other disneymania cds.

3.0 out of 5 stars repeating themselves, March 16, 2010
This review is from: Disneymania 7 (Audio CD)
I'm a big fan of the series. I have all 6; now 7. The trouble is, there are too many versions of some of these Lion King and Little Mermaid songs when they haven't even touched anything from Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Also, they are pushing some of the more obscure songs that I doubt anyone is seriously interested in, apart from Disney marketing people.

Also, I don't care for all the rap and r&b influences that have appeared in later editions, which is why I listen to 1 and 2 mostly. Of course that's just my preference, but if you're reading, Disney Music, please try to keep it pop. Not everyone likes rap.

I have not listened to this album yet, so that's why the rating so low, but if it's anything like the previous Disney Mania albums, then I'm sure I'll change the rating to a higher value. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars A Little On The Disappointed Side..., April 9, 2010
This review is from: Disneymania 7 (Audio CD)
I was really excited when I found out they were going 2 be doing my favorite Disney song, "Stand Out" on this cd. But I wish they would have gotten someone else 2 redo it. Mitchel Musso just can't sing. He was ok, but honestly, I can think of a lot of other people that could have done the song sooo much better. At least they finally did something different on these cds though, but if u've never heard the song before u should listen to the original 2, cause it's sooo much better.
