One of the funnest games for the Super Nintendo,

"Aladdin" is definitely one of my favorite Super Nintendo games. You have to guide Aladdin through many fun and awesome levels such as flying carpet levels, an underground mine level, Genie's level, boss levels, and much more. You have to defeat the enemies and bosses by throwing apples at them or by bouncing on their head. The apples will only stun some of the stronger enemies and the bosses. In most of the levels, you can find a carpet and then use it the rest of that level to slowly float down to certain places by holding L or R. Holding Y while walking, will make Aladdin run and also make your jumps more precise. Throughout each level there are a lot of green gems, which, after you collect 100 of them, you will gain an extra life. There are also the other kinds of needed powerups and items such as one-ups and chicken or bread for energy. In every level in the game, your main objective other than to get through the level is to find as many of the red gems as you can, there are 10 of them in each level. To make it even better, there's a treasure chest in most of the levels which will release a flying beetle, and if you catch it, you will go to a bonus level of sorts where Genie will spin a wheel and you press a button to make it stop, and it can land on certain things that will help you such as 1UP, 2UP, and a Genie icon which will give you an extra heart (more energy capacity for the game). But to get to that bonus level, you have to finish the level after you catch the beetle.Everything in this game is great. The graphics are colorful and detailed, the controls are top notch, the sound effects are good and you'll recognize most of the music from the movie, and best of all, it's a lot of fun, and I mean A LOT of fun. "Aladdin" is one of the funnest games I've ever played for any system. There are passwords to help you out after each level, but you probably won't need them. This game is way too easy, but it's a lot of fun to beat over and over again while trying to get all the red gems, which isn't so easy. If you like action/adventure games that have a lot of replay value and that are fun to play anytime, I recommend getting this one.

Aladdin is a pretty fun game, but it is meant more for littler kids. It is easy! It has good graphics and is really cute, but is more for ages 7-11.

I would recommend this game for anybody who has a Super Nintendo and likes Action/Adventure games. It has good graphics, sound, and it's alot of fun. The only thing i don't like about it is that it's somewhat easy. But it has enough replay value that I like going through the game over and over game. It would be a solid addition to any Super Nintendo library.

Licensed games have a generally well-deserved reputation for being bad. They're usually rushed to release at the same time as the movie they're based off of, and they're rarely handled by competent developers. However, a few games managed to escape this fate, most notably the Disney licensed games of the 16-bit era. Aladdin is one such title, and it's a real gem. Unlike its Genesis counterpart, the SNES Aladdin game was developed by Capcom (yes, THAT Capcom) a company well-known for its action platformers on the Super Nintendo. Aladdin definitely lives up to its pedigree; the graphics are bright and colorful, the soundtrack is catchy and makes good use of tunes from the movie's score, and the gameplay, while challenging, isn't unreasonable in its demands. This was actually the first video game I ever beat, and I still played it over and over again, just because it was so much fun. It's a strong platformer, and a lot of fun to play, especially if you like the movie. If you can track down a reasonably-priced copy and you're a fan of retro platformers, pick it up. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I've had this game for a long time, and it was so amazing when it first came out for the graphics, which still are not half bad. The game is entertaining, and everyone has their own personal preference on a favorite level. There are also cheat codes so you can play that favorite one when you want! enjoy!

For those of you who like these Disney games, amust. You play as Aladdin. You're weapon inventory includes a sword and Throwing Apples. Comic Relief when you defeat some enemies.

This game is a pretty fun platformer. It's a little short (casual play you can beat it in an hour easy), but it's fun for what you play and it's fun to replay repeatedly. It's a different game than the Genesis version, so if you want that one be sure to be careful which system you get this game for.Game came as described, and came on time.

Capcom turned the hit movie into a good game,

Aladdin was the mega popular Disney movie released in 1992 and stars a teen named Aladdin who unexpectedly falls in love with a princess and then rescues her from an evil sorcerer who gets a hold of a lamp containing great power. He wants to use this great power in order to rule the world. The movie won over moviegoers worldwide and received critical acclaim while grossing millions of dollars while it was played in theaters. It wasn't long before the game was released to the Super NES and Sega Genesis in 1993. The Genesis version was made by Virgin Interactive and the SNES version was made by Capcom and fortunately they turned the hit movie into a good game worth playing.
Aladdin follows the story and events in the movie exactly and focuses on Aladdin's agile ability to jump off poles, ledges and enemies to reach platforms to other areas before continuing on. He can use apples to stun his enemies while collecting food for health, diamonds for points and golden scarabs which trigger a mini game at the end of the stage where he finds one. The game has 6 stages in total, including bonus stages where you can earn more points. The PROS: Capcom had held the license to make games based on Disney properties. Aladdin looks and sounds great thanks to its bright graphics, excellent music, sound effects and even includes songs featured in the movie. The controls are spot on so controlling Aladdin is never an issue. Once you finish a stage, you are given a password so it's easy to stop where you are and continue your progress later. The CONS: Aladdin is not the hardest game out there so even the youngest of players can breeze through the game with ease. It's also a short game so it's over before you realize it. Interesting enough, the reason Capcom did not make this game for the Genesis was because the license to make games based on Disney movies had just expired and Virgin Interactive stepped in to make it for Sega. That game turned out to be totally different and received positive reviews and feedback from players. You can't go wrong with either version. But for those who want to check out the SNES version, it's worth buying it for young players but it may not hold the interest of older gamers long enough.

I purchased this from Amazon because when I went into the stores, I was laughed at. So old. But it was for my daughter who used to play the game when she was little and was dying to do it again. Thank you so much for having it. Delivery was great. Game worked great. You made a young girls heart swell.
