5.0 out of 5 stars Good phonic education
If you want to sneak in a little learning between homework assignments for 1st graders, I think this is a great way to do it. It may not be advanced enough for 2nd graders however.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good content, but make sure they all work
We got this as a gift last May for our son't 5th birthday. He enjoys it very much, but the reading (Aladdin) disk seems to need more RAM than the other disks. You must have QuickTime in order to use this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Disney Learning 1st-2nd grade, November 23, 2008
By
This review is from: Disney's 1st & 2nd Grade Bundle (Pixar 1st Grade, Secret Keys, and Aladdin Reading Quest) (CD-ROM)
Very interesting & slightly challenging games to aid learning; nice graphics & storyline. Kids love it--have 2 preschool, 1 K, 2 2nd and 1 3rd grade--all wait (and watch others progression) impatiently to play it. Had initial problems with installing & some sound or stopping (on Vista) but got immediate response that fixed all from Disney on line.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad content, bad programming, March 2, 2011
This review is from: Disney's 1st & 2nd Grade Bundle (Pixar 1st Grade, Secret Keys, and Aladdin Reading Quest) (CD-ROM)
I have a PC with a current version of Windows and all updated drivers, but the program still does not work well with the system. I get error messages all the time, which make it difficult to play the game. In addition, the content is not good. There are different games in the program, but in general it probably takes 5 minutes of waiting and watching videos to get to three math problems or five words to read. It is among the worst educational computer programs I have seen.

4.0 out of 5 stars pretty fun, January 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Disney's 1st & 2nd Grade Bundle (Pixar 1st Grade, Secret Keys, and Aladdin Reading Quest) (CD-ROM)
My children ages 4 and 3 are very skilled on the computer, as most kids are these days and they find it hard to navigate some of the games. It is engaging enough that they persist and still play it.

I have two sons ages 4 and 3 that play with this game. They like the Mickey Mouse game, but don't like the Alladin Reading game. Too much talking and instructions and less play time........

2.0 out of 5 stars Disney 3-pack games, January 28, 2007

Well, I am very disappointed because 2 out of 3 of these games don't work. We checked our computer settings and memory. We have an iMac OSX and it also runs OS9. Everything should be fine. It is VERY frustrating. I expect Disney products to be easy to use and good quality. But, at the same time I purchase this one, I bought another Disney Preschool 3-pack and NONE of those CD's work! Very confused and very angry. I wish I knew how to fix it.
