Hello I'm an autistic adult gamer.

Well to start off I picked up this game yesterday from GameStop along with My Baby: First Steps - DS I put both on reserve back in August of 09 neatless to say I already beat My Baby: First Step's & am playing it second time around. Anyway's I got into playing A Christmas Carol - DS game it's beatiful with the graphic's & the storyline. It follow's exactly the storyline which is what I wanted. The game isn't to hard intil you into Scrooge's house & the ghost of Marley is trying to get you to wake up scrooge & get the blanket off of scrooge. If anyone can help or give advice on that stage of the game. I'd greatly appreciate it. So far the game is quite fun. & you have to circle ghost's in the game. & If you go down to where it say's "EXTRAS" hit it & you can see the credits, read the full book by Charles Dicken's, or enter in "Cheat Codes" yes you heard me Disney put in the word CHEAT CODES under the extra section it's almost as though they actually want you to cheat in the game funny huh? Usually you just see the word password sorry I thought that was just a little humorous. I would say this game get's a five star rating from me. I'm still working on the game. If anyone need's help with the game please leave comment & I'll try to help as best as I can with the game. Get the game if you ever read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dicken's you'll like this game. I know I'm enjoying it.

By the way Alice in Wonderland is coming out March of 2010 for the Nintendo DS just thought I'd let everyone know that.

UPDATE: I beat A Christmas Carol as of Dec 13, 2009 Sunday I finally got past the card playing scene turns out you only have to beat 2 out the 3 mini games after that the game was as easy as pie to beat.

My ten year old daughter and I snuggled up with this DS game and I must say it has lots of atmostphere and is very fun to play with mini games that are unique and fun. I had heard this has a count down until Christmas with an advent calendar, so I had to buy it before the holiday for us to really have time before Christmas to enjoy it and I must say that it is great. I have no regrets for buying an early Christmas treat for us to play.

We've seen the movie and really enjoyed how, with just a few excursions, like the book the movie was and the game is delightful as well. The game can be tricky but not so frustrating as some and it's not a shoot 'em up so it's filled with puzzles and wonderful things to find such as stars and candy canes that are hidden all throughout the game. You catch ghosts and angels and rack up points too. You walk Scrooge through his journey and help him and the ghosts and find lots of mini games and treats.

This game also has an advantage I haven't looked into but you can sign up for Disney Gaming and get additional treats from that website.

I am also quite certain that Charles Dickens would be glad his tale is retold in such a great way and his story now even has a game that is certain to delight fans of A Christmas Carol.

This game is fun and I will play it each Christmas to come. There were a few spots I got stuck on but ended up figuring them out by just clicking on different things. It is short, but nonetheless fun. Plus, it has the book included that you can read (like a Nook). It is just the right thing to get you in the holiday mood and has a relaxed play mode so you don't get stressed out trying to beat the clock (except on a couple of mini games, but they are easy enough for me and I hate and don't do well at timed games.) Well worth the money if you love this story and this time of year. Well suited for all ages. I gave it a 4 because it was a shorter game than I'd would have liked.

Considering the price, thought might as well take a gamble-glad I did. Game was suprisingly fun to play and kept my interest. Game was challenging and required visiting Disney site for a few hints. Recommended.

Granted, I am still relatively new to these kinds of games. I am finding that I am having a hard time getting through the game's main storyline.

The side games are fun though. I would recommend it with the caveat that I've had to go to Nintendo DS cheats to figure out how to get through some of the scenes.

That being said, A Christmas Carol is one of my favorite stories. The music in this game is appropriate, I like being able to go back to previous areas and finish the side games when I get frustrated getting through the main story.

I wish there were more instructions with this game. This is it's only fault. I still am not able to figure out how to capture Marley's Ghost. If anyone knows how please let me know.

I am stuck at Fezziwig's warehouse where the game asks for Ebeneezer to kiss Bell. I have tried everything but can't get him to kiss her; I can get Fezziwig to kiss his wife. I have been on this problem for over a week! Unfortunately, you can't continue until that is completed.. Someone mentioned a pass-code? What and where?? Can anyone help??
