What a charming book! Cover to cover filled with beautiful artwork, many sketches and "development" pieces as well as the finished characters. What is most amazing after looking through the entire book is how the artists capture all the things best about dogs. Through animation they can represent all the fun, compassion, intelligence and love dogs have in a way that photographs just can't.

Also, I had forgotten how many wonderful Disney dogs there have been over the years, this was a fun walk down memory lane. There's even a little Lady and the Tramp flip book at the back. Cool!

I know of at least 3 people on my list who will be getting this book for Christmas.

This is a great H/C for any Disney movie fan, whether it be a hardcore Disneyite, or the casual fan of Disney animation. Would make a great present for Dog fans too. I ended up having to buy another one, as I gave this one to our Grandson, and a great bargain for a H/C----Dan

This I bought for my 13 years old daughter and she loved. I you like dogs and drawing, this is perfect.

I love this book for so many reasons: First and foremost, I am a huge dog lover! I am also a big Disney fan and an ever bigger fan of the author. This book is a "must-have" for any Disney collector and it makes a wonderful gift.

Just got this in the mail and I'm quite happy. The book is smaller than I was expecting, but doesn't skimp on the pages. Although there's tons of awesome art in here, including lots of sketches, animation cells, and preliminary pieces, the book seems aimed primarily at the dog lover rather than the artist. This is evidenced by the fact that there's very little commentary about the art itself; instead you'll find every few pages features a quote about dogs. Still, at the price, it's a great addition to any library. It chronicles almost every Disney dog character, from Pluto to Bolt.

This book is filled with gorgeous images on nice paper stock. The introduction by Roy Disney was a nice touch.

My favorite parts were the flip book section (although it was a bit tricky to do) and especially the section on Disney non-dogs (you really have to see this section to appreciate the extent of pseudo-dogs in Disney movies).

I can't wait to see the next one by Ms. Khalaf!
