Disney locations: enter the worlds of Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2, Disney's The Lion King and Disney's Tarzan, as you skate and solve puzzles in all the exciting places you've seen in the movies: Pride Rock, Tarzan's Treehouse, Pizza Planet, and more!
Create-A-Skater: design your own game character and learn to skate like a pro. The Create-A-Skater can skate throughout a real world hub area where he or she can interact with real world elements, such as stores, people, automobiles and more! Then, as your character's imagination takes over, he or she will be magically transported in the colorful worlds of Toy Story, The Lion King and Tarzan for out-of-this world skating adventures!
Disney characters: for the first time ever, skate as 12 different characters from Disney and Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2, Disney's The Lion King and Disney's Tarzan, such as Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Simba, Pumba & Timon, and Young Tarzan. Plus, 15 non-playable Disney and Disney/Pixar friends and foes will interact with you throughout your adventure.
Pro moves: skate like the best, incorporating sweet tricks like ollies, rail grinds, spins and other expert balance moves. Try your stuff on skateboards, Victorian mirrors, frying pans and other cool foot rides. Perform your cool skate moves on any of the surfaces in each world, such as grinding on dominoes in Andy's Room, spinning your board as you jump off trees in the jungle from Tarzan, and ollieing over bones in the Elephant Graveyard from The Lion King.
Multiple modes: practice tricks and explore levels in Free Skate Mode, complete goals against the clock in Adventure Mode, and compete against friends in split-screen Two Player Mode. Multiple control modes make it fun for everyone.

game of joy,

This review is from: Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure (Video Game)
My friend's parents rented Disney Skate Adventure for his youngest brother. We walked by as he was playing the game and laughing to himself. So we sat down to check it out. We were just watching him play but it looked like fun, and we wanted to try also. We ended up playing the game with him for a long time. The game plays just like Tony Hawk 4, but with characters from Toy Stroy and Lion King and Tarzan. It is a nice change to play a top quality video game that is also lighthearted and good for kids. The graphics are pure Disney quality, the goals and characters are funny and the music is not your standard Disney orchestra stuff - and that's a bonus. I plan to order a copy to my own collection, and I'd recommend it as a great gift for kids.

Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure--review from a parent,
By A Customer
This review is from: Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure (Video Game)
Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure is a fun game for the 6-12 crowd most likely. The game features tunes from Radio Disney and many fun characters including Buzz, Woody, Tarzan ,etc.As a parent of two, and gamer myself, we all had fun playing the game. It takes a little practice to get used to the controls but exploring the enviroments (jungle, savana,Andy's room, etc) was fun. As other reviewers note, the game does take some planning ahead (ie. setting up for a grind or something to pull off trick, or getting to where you need to go). The game has little mini missions that allow you to unlock levels and skaters. I recommend the game for the ages listed above. You may want to rent first before a purchase just to make sure it has lasting play potential with your kids. Skate on!

Tony Hawk meets Disney,
By KT (NC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure (Video Game)
The kids should really dig this game from Activision; most of them won't have any problem racking up high scores since they have played Tony Hawk a million times already. This game uses the trick/control engine from the popular Hawk series. Lots of levels, tricks, neat hidden stuff, etc. This title is worth the cash, for both the kids and their parental units.
