5.0 out of 5 stars So romantic!
My husband and I met in Disneyland in 1999. When we began planning our wedding, we wanted to put a subtle Disney spin to it, since it means so much to our relationship (we even went to WDW for our honeymoon!) This CD inspired a number of songs - I walked down the aisle to So This Is Love, but played live by a classical guitarist, and we had the DJ play this entire disc...

1.0 out of 5 stars The arrangements are terrible injustice to some beautiful songwriting
I love the idea of some childhood magic as part of a brides big day, so thought Disney-fairytale would be perfect. But these are the worst arrangements I've ever heard. They follow a formula: start with soaring strings, add in the acoustic guitar solo which would be acceptable if they left it at that. But every song then goes into a Kenny G type solo and some of these are...

This CD inspired a number of songs - I walked down the aisle to So This Is Love, but played live by a classical guitarist, and we had the DJ play this entire disc during the dinner part of our reception. I truly felt like a princess, and it really made the evening so special. I HIGHLY recommend it :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Very romantic atmosphere this album brings!, June 19, 2006

This is really a romantic music collection. Almost all the most romantic songs of Disney were in this album, though there were no lyrics to sing, but it's still so romantic, or even more romantic than the vocal versions! Where I first heard this album was a restaurant, this album made the atmosphere so romantic and magical. Then I have decided to buy this album.
I think "Beauty and the Beast" is the best track in this album, I love the sound of piano. "Something There" was my favorite song in the movie, and this instrumental version is so beautiful too! At the first few seconds of the track "Love Is A Song", I could hardly recognize this, it was a little different from the original in the movie. But it's beautiful indeed! "Part of Your World" is one of my favorite Disney songs, and its instrumental version hasn't maken me disappointed, it made me feel very dreamy. I didn't like the song "Someday My Prince Will Come" so much before, but its instrumental version made me love it. However, the CD I bought from the music shop was not so good, I couldn't listen to the track "When You Wish Upon a Star" which I loved very much.
My father love light music very much, and I want to introduce this album to him in summer holiday, I'm sure he'll love this very much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!, May 1, 2005
This review is from: Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (Audio CD)
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings CD holds fourteen very well orchestrated love songs from favorite movies like Cinderella, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and many others. Listening to these majestic selections will make your heart swell with delight. Fall in love with this romantic instrumental collection.

I love the idea of some childhood magic as part of a brides big day, so thought Disney-fairytale would be perfect. But these are the worst arrangements I've ever heard. They follow a formula: start with soaring strings, add in the acoustic guitar solo which would be acceptable if they left it at that. But every song then goes into a Kenny G type solo and some of these are really akward transitions! I was listening and thinking...."man, the only thing missing from this mish mash is music box piano"....and then there it was.The other annoying contrivance used: if it was originally an upbeat song from Lion King, they slowed it waaay down. The romantic ballad was suddenly jazzy? I am a big Disney music fan, so am really annoyed they ruined it like this. There is one good song on this: an original recording of Aladdin's "Whole New World". I'm sorry I spent the money on this one, but was lured by the good reviews. Ick.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Classics!, March 27, 2005
This review is from: Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (Audio CD)
This CD contains so many classic Disney songs. If you are a die hard fan like me, then you have most or all of them already, but if not, this is an excellent piece to start your collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great CD BUT one warning!, March 31, 2009
This review is from: Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (Audio CD)
This is such a neat CD, with beautiful instrumental versions of classic Disney songs. I like to put it on at night to fall asleep to. But the songs are also very romantic and would be perfect for backround music at a music or dance.

One warning, though. This CD is exactly the same to "Disney's Instrumental Impressions" http://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Instrumental-Impressions-Classic-Disney/dp/B000007N7B/ref=pd_krex_po_t I found that to be interesting...so if you own that CD, don't buy this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Music From Camp Mickey Minnie at Animal Kingdom, June 12, 2008
This review is from: Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings (Audio CD)
This is a great CD and is also the instrumental acoustic guitar music played at Camp Mickey Minnie at Disney World's Animal Kingdom. The guitarist is Jack Jezzro and the album was previously released as "Disney's Instrumental Impressions" which is now out of print.

I bought this CD because I am getting married in April and I love anything Disney. It's wonderful. All the songs are very soft and perfect to have as much playing while your guests are arriving... at least that's what I'm going to use it for. I'm sure I'll listen to it even after the wedding. It's very relaxing but fun too because it's all Disney songs!
