A "Have to Read" for anyone.,

This child's tale has so many of life's lesson in it, I'm always amazed the story isn't given more attention. Perhaps it is because the original cartoon came out in 1941 and it is considered "old hat."I couldn't disagree more. The story contains lessons on misjudging people; the value of friendship; the importance of believing in yourself. It explores the importance of the mother-child relationship. This book isn't considered fine literature. It probalby will never be found in a school of higher learning. But, maybe it should. My all time favorite. |
