I got this for my girls for Christmas and we have had such a good time singing all the songs. We have even brought it in the car so they can sing along there too. The one negative thing is that my girls wished it had the nanny song sung by the kids in the movie. It still has been worth every penny spent.

Mary Poppins has been my favorite movie since I first saw it in 1973. The wonderful music of Disney inspired me to enter a music career. I've greatly enjoyed the restoration of these great movies and their music over the past ten years or so. I throughly enjoy the complete score-only feature of "The Sound of Music" dvd and this is the Disney equivalent. There's no end to the thrill of hearing this wonderful original score, arranded and conducted by Irwin Costal, in it's digitally restored brilliance. This makes me anxiously await the two disc soundtrack to be released for the film's 40th anniversary. Three cheers to the producers and to Disney for giving this original music the attention it deserves.

Our children enjoy this very much. It is a good product--good word graphics and lyrics are inside the CD materials. The only downsides are that it is not "self-playing" on a computer--at least not on mine. I had to download a Karoake program. Second, it is not Julie Andrews. It is a singer named Lesley French. Her voice is wonderful, and she sounds like Julie, but your children might notice the difference . . .

My kids (9 and 11) have lots of fun with this. The instrumental portions appears to be from the original sound track, including the background singing (e.g., 'Feed the Birds). However, the foreground vocals are not Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. The female is pretty darn good. At first, I thought it was Julie A (it's not). The male is clearly not Dick Van Dyke and while he is good enough, it is just not the same as Van Dyke. That said, it is a great Karaoke CD.

If you enjoy the Mary Poppins songs, then you will not be disappointed in this CD. My 8-year-old daughter has enjoyed this, and she recommends it as do I!

This is great for young kids who love this movie. It is helping my 5 year old to read.

Exactly what a Mary Poppins fan wants to sing with! The original score sans vocals! It's perfect. All to often makers of products like this add things you don't want.

Note that the vocal versions included are not Julie Andrews or Dick Van Dyke, but they're very good and plenty for teaching a person the lyrics.

Most karaoke CDs do not have the original vocalists, so this is what I expected when I bought it for Christmas a few years ago. Since Mary Poppins is a family favorite, this has been played a lot. Very fun entertainment for everyone in the family.
