5.0 out of 5 stars Woooohaaaa!
Ok, ok...I am kind of a Stitch nut, but the little blue guy is just so darn cool. The movie rules, the soundtrack rocks and this game is so much fun as well.
At first I thought that it was going to be easy and that I would finish it in not time. NOT TRUE. It is surprisingly challenging. Kids can play it and get the gist of the game, have fun and laugh along...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth the time or $$
Luckily I was able to return this to Gamestop merely one day after owning it. I gave it a good try but this game lacks any focus/any goals-it has poor camera controls, terrible graphics that would be at home on a PS1 maybe. Another licensed cash-in rushed to come out with a film. Granted, if the gameplay itself was at least FUN, I'd have kept it....in turn I returned...

Kids can play it and get the gist of the game, have fun and laugh along with Stitch and his crazy antics. Adults will like it because you have to get "movie reels" that you use to "buy" secrets in the game. Inter-Stitchals (the commercials used to preview the movie), scenes from the film and other goodies. These "reels" are surprisingly hard to come by...but worth the effort to collect. Collect enough to "buy" your favorite scenes from the movie...take a break from playing...and watch something funny.
The game reminds me of the "Crash Banditcoot" games for the PSOne. They are fun, challenging, but not so difficult that it alienates a whole group of players. This game is a fun romp through the universe...Stitch style. Blow stuff up...collect DNA...acquire "movie reels"...and laugh. Yep, those would be the main points of the game. Its just fun, both for kids and adults...a great addition to any game library. The control is smooth and the graphics are slick...gameplay is great and it has superb replay value. Get it...its a ton of fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, not bad..., January 4, 2003

I thought this was a cute game...graphics are pretty good and controls are very easy to figure out - no instruction manual reading required. You can even get multiple guns...up to 4 of them! Its the little things that I like about this game - like stitch swearing under his breath (in some weird language, but you KNOW he's not saying something nice). Only thing that kinda sucked is that you NEVER really die. Oh sure, you walk off a cliff and die, but then you start right back where you left off. The game is never over, so there is no real satisfaction when you beat a level. You can die 100 times and STILL beat the level - it just takes time. So apart from that little snag, it's a great game for kids or adults.

4.0 out of 5 stars great movie.. great game, June 25, 2002

The Lilo & Stitch movie was really great & had more adult humor than most Disney flicks. This game is great & is also not much of a kids game. It has it's flaws, but I really enjoyed it. The graphics are pretty good & Stitch has quite a few moves which adds some gameplay value. Like in most 3d platformers, the camera sucks sometimes, which makes jumping & crawling a pain at spots. But the game moves really fast.. the levels are pretty different from one another & are quite lengthy. The sound is great. Voice actors from the movie are used all throughout. The music is pretty cool too but for some reason when you are swinging, the music totally stops & you have this awkward silence. The game also features great clips from the movie (25 in all i think) that keeps you playing to unlock em all. If you enjoy 3d platformers, or just need something to play until all the great games come out this fall.. i suggest pickin this one up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stitch is gonna ROCK!, June 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Disney's Lilo & Stitch (Video Game)
I was lucky enough to play a sneak version of this game at E3. This is by far the best Disney game I have ever played. It's great for kids, and really good for action game fans in general. Stich has all sorts of motion states. He climbs the walls and jetpacks and swings from a grapple hook even! Cool music and really nice looking environmenets and animations make this game look like a winner.

A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney's Lilo & Stitch (Video Game)
I loved it! :) It was very fun and quite challenging. My mother bought me the game when I was young (around seven or eight years old), and I still play it at age 13. It's gotten easier over the years, of course, but I still have trouble with some of the areas. I barely remember the movie now, as I watched it many years ago, but the game makes me want to watch it and the other "Stitch" films again every time I play!
I was disappointed that my favorite character, Dr. Hamsterviel, wasn't really included in the game, though. Yes, there was Dr. Habbitrale, but he was actually pretty different from the evil alien gerbil I love. :( His voice was much deeper, he wasn't wearing Hamsterviel's signature "H" cape, and he wasn't really all that important to the game. I mean, he was the FIRST boss when he should have been the last and hardest boss! They made it seem like Gantu was in charge when it's actually the other way around from what I remember--with Hamsterviel in charge and Gantu working for him. (That might just be in the "Lilo & Stitch" television series though, because, like I said before, I don't really remember the movie.) And yes, I know this is probably due to copyright, but I just wish Hamsterviel could have been included in one of my favorite PS2 games. It doesn't really make sense that they got rights to all of the other characters and not him. :/ Unless he wasn't even in the first movie? I don't know.
Anyway, I recommend this game to anyone who loves Stitch--whether it's the movies you like or the series! :) But if you love Dr. Hamsterviel as much as I do, prepare to be a bit disappointed by who he was replaced with. :(

4.0 out of 5 stars Can entertain for HOURS, May 26, 2008
A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Disney's Lilo & Stitch (Video Game)
The game is kind of like a story mode. You can play it over again quite a few times and it wouldn't get old.
The only downside: Once you keep playing it over again even the harder levels (Caverns and Chasms) get very easy. It is either that or I am out of the difficulty age range for this game. That age range is probably 5 to 11 year olds.
I do not reccommend this game for ages 12 and up.
