Perfect for the little ones!,

I have been searching for GBA games my 3 year old can play and this is it! I have bought many other games that from the title one would guess would be young-kid friendly (Piglet's Big Adventure, Dora the Explorer, etc.) but this one delivers! It is intuitive and the concept is very simliar to the episodes. There are several "missions" to choose from. Although there is some text to be "read" it is not necessary to figure out how to play the games. FINALLY my 3-yr-old has his own game separate from my older kids' games that is JUST AS FUN for him to play - more fun because he can actually do it!

My mother-in-law gave our five year old son a Gameboy Advance for Christmas. I don't like the idea of giving little kids gaming devices, but if my son has to have one, I'm happy I found this game. Not only is it cute and educational, but it offers two skill levels: one easy and one slightly harder. My son does not get frustrated with this game, the way he does with the other Gameboy games rated "E," like Madagascar, Spongebob, and even Tonka trucks. This Little Einsteins game lets him enjoy learning how to maneuver the control pad arrows and the buttons. The games offer just enough of a challenge to keep him interested, while still being possible for him to "win."Before each game, there are a lot of introductions and "talky" parts you have to scroll through. I've been sitting with my son to read the words to him as he plays (reading with your kid--what a concept, right?!) These "talky" parts are helpful, because they name the paintings, artists, songs, and composers that are the subjects of each "mission." The more the kids hear them, they'll be likely to memorize them. I think as my son becomes familiar with the games, he'll be able to just hit the "A" button to skip past all the "talky" stuff. I'd also recommend "Franklin the Turtle" for preschool and kindergarten aged kids. There are a good mix of skill levels and a lot of different game choices.

I bought it for our almost 2.5 year old. He was always being left out when it was "game" time, so we wanted to find something just for him. For the most part, he just has to push one button and if he doesn't do it correctly, he just keeps playing. I think it is great although there are too many words but your little one can just push by those.

My four year old is a big fan of The Little Einsteins so he was thrilled to recieve the game for Christmas. It is easy for him to understand and it keeps him entertained(and quiet) on long drives. I haven't played it, so I am going purely off a four year olds attention span and reactions to the game as he plays.

My 3 yr old son just received this for his birthday and loves it! His favorite game is to drive Rocket! Really cute and easy enough for such a young age. Best of all, they arrived very quickly wihtout paying extra! I also recommend Dora Pirate Pig & Star Adventures and Kola Brothers!

I bought this game for my 4 year old son as a present, and both he and I were excited to get it... But, as my son already plays games like Mario World, Dora, Donkey Kong, et cetera, he was a ittle bit too advanced for this game. If your child is new to the game system, this is a good starter one, as it focuses on a lot of hand and eye coordination. Overall, the game was a good buy, just a little bit too young for my son who is already advanced in the gaming world.

We bought this for our 3 year old last Christmas. Although not very exciting, it allows him to "play" and "win" easily. He really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a first game for a young player, I recommend this one.

This game is excellent for younger children who want to keep up with older siblings. The instructions are easy to follow and the characters are familiar to the children. Very realistic and defined graphics.

I like that this game plays that classical music during the game. At least maybe some of the melodies will stick in his brain. Most of the games for game boys aren't educational at all. Easy for 3 and 4 yr olds to play and figure out without being able to read the prompts on the game boy.
