I love little einsteins,
This review is from: Disney's Little Einsteins - Mission Celebration (DVD)
While this is not a full length movie, but three or four different episodes, it is still very good. My daughter loves the little einsteins and it is hard to find anything that is this educational. I have a college background in early childhood education and I would recommend this to any parent that is concerned with educational television. Plus, it exposes not only the child but adults to great classical music and artwork. Worth every penny!!!!!!!

If you already own the other little einsteins videos, than you know what you are getting. Its an excellent video filled with lots of education, classical music, new vocabulary, and it takes you around the world through the eyes of the Little Einsteins. My son who is 2 1/2 years old absolutley loves it. He responds to their questions, makes decisons along with the characters, and never gets tired of seeing this video (although I am!).
As far as children's videos go, this is another winner from Disney.

My 3 year old just cannot get enough of these characters! Sings every word to their song! And their missions are always fun-filled and educational. I would highly recommend this DVD...we can't wait until the next one comes out!!

I have never heard of Little Einsteins. They may not be that big a hit here in Toronto, but my 2 year old cannot get enough. Since I want him to be bilingual, I only play it in Spanish and it has us BOTH engaged. I was skeptical because I hate the Baby Einstein DVDs, however this is completely different. The use of classical music is not cheesy! (As some other DVDs!) You and your children will actually get involved! I definitely will be purchasing more from this set.

I ordered this DVD for my public library's collection along with the English language version. THEY ARE THE SAME DISC! They have the same label numbers. The only difference is a small paper label on the 'Spanish' version's disc declaring that it's dubbed in Spanish. Both the English and Spanish dubbed discs have the exact same content - soundtracks in both languages.
Shame on Disney/Buena Vista for this horrible marketing ploy.

This is currently my son's favorite Little Einstein video. He especially loves the first episode with the birthday machine, and sings the song that goes along with it. Being that he loves birthday celebrations, and cake, so much, this really kicked his obsession in high gear. LOL He loves talking about birthdays and all that goes with it.
The music, the art, the fun, all of it is good stuff! It's cute! Your kids will love it!

This is the third Little Einsteins video I purchased for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. Although she nor I enjoyed the Baby Einstein videos, we both love the Little Einsteins. I LOVE that they incorporate art and classic music, as well as fairly accurate portraits of the areas in which they travel. The music is not annoying like so many kids videos, and my toddler interacts well with the storylines. So far, I have to give Disney the credit they deserve for these videos.

My 2 year old loves this. She grew out of Baby Einstein and we bought her a few Little Einstein ones. She watches them all the time. We had to try to limit her DVD time everyday so that she has other things to do. But of all the DVD's this is quite educational (even for me as an adult!). The characters asked questions to viewers, guided them to imitate gestures and noises. I also like the real images in addition to cartoon images. For example, they flew over the real cities such as Venice or Seattle, and showed real animals like penguins.
My only complaint, and it's a big one, is that the kids are off tune. Annie (the blonde) is seriously off tune. It really bothers me when they sang together (that feeling is similar to someone who scratched a blackboard with fingernails). Complete dissonance in certain instances. At first I thought it was the composer of the tune, or believed it could just be my own problem and they were just singing with normal kids voice. But later confirmed with others that they were, in fact, out of tune. If they're trying to set examples for kids and teach them various things from fine arts to classical music to science, why not demonstrate by singing the tunes correctly?

My boys are only 18 months, but they are enthralled by this video no matter how many times we play it. I like that they're somewhat interactive and feature classic works of art and music as well as world goegraphy. This is entertainment that has not been dumbed down for kids. Even I learn something watching these videos, like the meaning of "adagio" or "allegro." I look forward to treating my kids to this series for the next few of years. I must add that I agree with the other reviewer's comments about gender and race sterotypes. I was struck by that the first time that I saw a preview of this show. However, I don't feel that the content or meaning of the videos is diminished by this. It will be my job to ensure that my children are exposed to experiences that show that different people have different things to offer and not to make sweeping generalizations about individuals based on their gender, race, or anything else.
