We purchased this book for our nephew who LOVES anything pirate, and he's crazy about the Little Einsteins! It was a huge hit! We're trying to collect all of Marcy Kelman's work, it rocks!

These Little Einsteins paperbacks are usually pretty good, but this is one of the weakest. Though its plot takes the kids on an undersea adventure, this book doesn't teach anything about the sea, sea life or anything else. And the flaps are so lame! They don't let a child look under or behind things, but instead reveal the second page of a pirate map, the answer to a letter puzzle and slightly different versions of various scenes. The flaps may be interesting to open once, but have little repeat value. Much better Little Einstein choices are Leo's Baton and Halloween Surprise.

Bought for my Nephew for Christmas and was really happy with the book- however not so with the seller. My Nephew loves the series and we are super sad that you can't get any of the items from the show other than in bits and pieces.

Nice book but it had no flip pages. Would have been nice to know that before I bought it. The story was not complete without flips. Not cool.

We had to buy more Little Einstein books, since we only had one that we had to read over and over. My daughter loves them. Great little stories that try to teach some life value (friendship, caring, helping others).

My child loves Little Einsteins, and she likes this book alright. But as an adult reading the book to her, I find it to be inane and disappointing. It is not well structured or written, and the plot is scattered and pointless (a scavenger hunt in order to get the map back? where'd that come from?).

In short, go with something else. You can certainly do better.

My 2 year old loves the Little Einsteins and this book is good because the pages are a little thicker than a regular paperback book. It is a little wordy for her but she still enjoys the pictures.

Terrific book that incorporates sequencing (following map steps), counting, undersea animals, and of course, Rocket outsmarting Big Jet! My kids actually play-act the parts of this book, they love it that much. Worth every nickel spent on it!
