Ariel gets all the press, but her sisters also need a little more exposure too. This book series gives them that exposure. Each of the girls gets fleshed out a little more, personality-wise, and there are beautiful illustrations of them spaced throughout the book. The plot is very well-written; easy enough for a kid to understand, but still engaging and entertaining to an adult.
Plot Synopsis: When the royal family heads to their summer palace for a long vacation, everyone is excited about it but Arista. She knows she is going to miss her favorite seahorses and is certain that this new palace won't be any fun at all. Upon arriving though, she meets a stablehand who impresses her, and after befriending him, she begins skipping royal parties to go riding with him. But what will happen when Triton finds out? |
