Little Mermaid 2: "Return to the Fun!",
By A Customer
This review is from: Disney's The Little Mermaid II (Video Game)
I found this game extremely fun to play. Im a big kid you see, who was a big fan of the first little mermaid game for the Nintendo platform. A very cool follow up continuing with the adventures under the sea. Between saving Prince Eric (That pesky prince always getting himself caught), finding Atlantica, Saving Atlantica, Conducting Sebastians Orchestra, Finding your true identity, reclaiming the trident AND escaping from the castle! Not to mention there is over 30 minutes of movie footage. Its never a dull moment.

ONE OF THE COOLEST GAMES!!!!!,

This game was rather cooler than I expected. Rescuing PriceEric is not as easy as it seems, battling Ursula is really hard, finding the magic locket is fun, conducting Sebastion's orchestra is pretty neat, and battling Morgana is the best, most action packed game of all! This game really sticks true to the movie, and even my 12 year-old son likes it! If you liked the movie, you'll like this game!

A fun game!,

I bought this game for my daughters ages 7 & 4 and they love it! We are a "gaming" family and we all played this together. My daughters have mastered it, but it took them quite a while to do so. They are both very adept on the playstation and neither bacame bored, in fact, they still play it even though they have completed all levels. The bonus games are a little tough, even for me. The bubble game is challenging, but fun. The only thing my daughters don't like about this game is that Sebastian talks too much. He gives some helpful hints but can be a bit windy. The graphics are pretty good and my daughters love seeing clips from the movies while they are playing. I would certainly recommend this game to anyone with daughters ages 4-8 and who are into mermaids!

fun but there was one problem. Once you play it, that is it unless you want to keep playing the bonus games (I have no complaints to that!). The first levels are really cool considering you are a mermaid and in certain spots if you hold down the triangle button and down on your directional keys you can do a cool flip (well sorta). Anyway, I love how they used so much music from both movies and made more! I love their version of "part of your world" and "for one moment" the rest of the music is kinda cool. My favorite level is Sea Garden (the first level Melody is in). The bonus games are pretty cool. Sebastian's Orchestra is cool but hard. Even though it starts off so easy get ready, it's hard! Snowball Antics is alot of fun (especially when you win!). The Bubble game is so fun! You blow bubbles to help keep all of Ariel possessions in her treasure trove up on their shelves. I haven't beaten all 7 levels yet (I've had the game for almost 11 months!) so that should tell you something. This is a fun game but it is good for beginners, but experts may think it's dumb. (Which it isn't!)

The Little Mermaid Review,

This game is good for younger kids. Best features were the lovely graphics, bonus levels, and the fact that you start out as Ariel and her adventures with Ursula, then switch to Melody and her adventures. Recommended for younger audiences only. Older audiences will be semi dissapointed in this game. There is 30 minutes of movie footage (Little Mermaid 1 & 2). Which the game did not need. The footage was longer than the game itself. Bad storytelling. Too short and too easy for my tastes.

My kids love it!,

I am the mother of 2 girls, 7 & 4. They love it! My 4 yr old can even do some of it. Although some of the scenes are a little too intense for her like the one where Ariel is being chased by a shark through the shipwreck graveyard. But my 7 yr old thinks it is way cool! She loves it and wants to play it over and over. The bonus games are neat too. I would recommend this to any Little Mermaid fan.

This game was so much fun. You start out as Ariel and then half way through turn into Melody. This game might be a little too easy for the hard core playstation gamer but is great for me! There's 3 bonus levels that keep you coming back for more! Each level is pretty easy to get through but the bosses Ursala and the other octapus are harder and take some practice. I haven't seen the second movie but now I want to, all the sounds make me want to watch the first one again. The graphics are great and the game play is wonderful, I definently recommend trying this game.

When I was little, I was a huge Little Mermaid freak. I had a dress which consisted only of Ariel on it, my daily thing was to play this game and eat my Mom's hotdog pancakes, and when it was time for a bath i would always arch my back and sing the songs. This game was basically my childhood and I've been looking for it FOREVER. I'm so glad I found it and I have it now!! This game is hours of fun and just downright cute for any Disney or Little Mermaid fan. So so so so so so glad I got this. <3

What a Great Game!!!,

This game is very fun and cool. Has good graphics, funny sounds, a beautiful underwater scenario, there're only 2 things that are not good: has only 12 levels and load slowly. But, anyways, it's really good. Also, when you play the underwater levels, it's just like you are the mermaid, swiming truely!!! This game rox! If you want a good game, just buy it!

My 5 year old absolutely love little mermaid movies 1 and 2, but this game does not hold her attention very much. i think the manuevering may be a tad difficult because it takes patience, which kids usually don't have, to master moving something that swims rather than walks, jumps, runs. although there are 3 levels were you play as melody and you're on land, but you must first play as ariel to get to those levels. it's an okay game, it's not the one she goes for the most, but she does still play it.
