Mickey is getting ready to host a Halloween party for his friends. After decorating the place he goes up to the attic to get a costume together, and all sorts of spooky things begin to happen. A storm begins and the lights go out. In the dark, Mickey bumps into cobwebs. He opens an old trunk to find a skeleton (an old party decoration!) grinning up at him, etc. When his friends arrive the lights go out again. In the dark they hear MIckey dragging the trunk across the floor. Outdoors, Pluto runs into a sheet hanging on the line and careens around the yard like a ghost. Mickey comes downstairs in the dark with a lighted candle and ends up scaring his pals silly. It's been a haunted evening all right--and the party hasn't even begun! There's lots of Halloween fun here for readers of all ages.
