I love this book!,

This review is from: The Disobedient Mistress (Sister Brides) (Paperback)
The Disobedient Mistress has hot passion, romance, and a wonderful sense of humor (such as the scene when she climbs on top of him and says "Give it to me!" and his response to that). The hero is one gorgeous sexy Alpha male billionaire whose greatest vulnerability lies with the heroine because he's crazy about her. As usual, Lynne Graham lives up to expectation! No wonder she is my favorite author as she has never disappointed me!!

Very good read and interesting story line. The best thing about this book is that it is one of a three part series 'sister brides'. If you enjoyed An Arabian Marriage , Heiress Bride this is the middle book of the series. I qiute enjoyed reading all of them.

I loved this book and I also highly recommend it's sequal THE HEIRESS BRIDE which was also very very good. The heroines in both stories are very strong and survivors. They both end up with rich powerful men who although are ultra alpha and of course who can be real cads in the beggining of the story, they more than make it up in the end by becoming wonderful and loving husbands. I am a Lynne Grahm addict, I can't get enough of her stories and these 2 books are 2 of my favorites by her.

Description from the book back cover:Mistress in name only? Misty Carlton is shocked when Leone Andracchi offers to help her out of financial difficulty. Surely there must be a catch? There is ... The ruthless and sexy Sicilian tycoon needs her to pose as his mistress for a couple of months! Misty is compelled to take on the job. After all, Leone has asked her to be his mistress in name only. How hard can that be? But quietly, Leone is struggling to resist this beautiful woman he's brought into his life. She's gotten under his skin like no one ever before. Is it too late to change the plans he's set in motion?

Another excellent Lynne Graham for my collection!,

Lynne Graham never disappoints. She's my favorite Presents author because she delivers the goods every time. The sexy, rich tycoons and beautiful heroines jump off the page. Her storylines and dialogue keep you riveted. Ms. Graham does two things I really love: she often gives you a glimpse of what is going on in the male character's head and she infuses her stories with humorous/outrageous dialogue. The Presents line needs more authors like her. Snap up her books!

I like that the author did not make the guy too big of a villain in the beginning. Certainly he's not without flaws, but in the end Leone is still a very likable character. The writing is very good, as usual, and you come away with a warm and fuzzy feeling at the end of the book.

This Book is Okay,

I love Lynne Graham books but I only gave this one three stars because it is not as good as many of the others she has written. I really recommend Bond of Hatred or the Bankers Convenient Wife. Those are really entertaining with feisty heroines who are not doormats. This one is okay but the ones mentioned are better.

This was a bore,

I usually read a Harlequin for fast, relaxing, but good storytelling-reading, and some of them are very successful in that respect, but this one was truly terrible! I had to force myself to finish it. The heroine was weak and spineless (and lived up to her horrible name, Misty), and the hero was a typical Alpha male. Some of the Harlequins surprise you with the depth of good writing and real tenderness between the characters, but there are no such nice surprises here! Very disappointing effort from this author.
