This review is from: Disorders of Affect Regulation: Alexithymia in Medical and Psychiatric Illness (Paperback)
I am a graduate student in physics but I have taken a number of courses in psychology. Although these credentials may not qualify me to give a formal review of the said book, I think I am entitled to offer a decent opinion. The book, like many science oriented books, tends to focus on studies and correlations a lot. This is very interesting for a scientist, but even a scientist likes to know about the phenomenological aspects of topics. The book can get a little "thick" at times, but it did shed light on a number of topics I had previously studied. I thought it was done pretty well.
