Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It helps us deal with a tense situation in the office, study harder for an exam, keep focused on an important speech. In general, it helps us cope. But when anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread of everyday situations, it has become a disabling disorder. In a personal account Julie shares here knowledge on the subject.

Julie, who has been a victim of anxiety disorder, writes about her illness and recovery. Whilst describing her own experience she touches on all important topics as what anxiety disorders are, what causes them, how to diagnose and treat them and how to prevent them from occurring.

I found her book concise and easy to read.
