I liked this case so much I ordered another. They both arrived in a timely fashion and the packaging was outstanding. They were easy to hang on my office wall and look great. I was able to fit 37 steam and diesel engines in them.

Product was recieved on time and in perfect shape. More quality than I imagined and was easy to hang. For the money, this display case is worth the money and looks really good on my wall. I recommend highly.

The display case is very well packaged and arrived in very good shape. It is beuatiffully finished and looks like fine furniture. However there are a few issues. The glass is actually plastic and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it completely clean. It may be manufacturing residues or something from the packaging materials but there is stuff stuck to the cover that I can't get off. Then there are the latches at the bottom, they don't close completely so that they can be locked. It looks like I am going to have to bend them a bit so that they will close but I am hesitant to do so in fear of breaking the latch off. Since I don't have any kids I am going to leave it unlocked.

I bought this case to display both British and American models. British OO (1/76th scale) and US/Continental HO (1/87th scale) are about the same size due to the smaller British loading gauge. The shelves have lips about 1/8" high. I wanted to display the trains on track but found that although the shelf is deep enough to accomodate the HO track the lip put the track too near the back. My solution was to turn the cabinet upside down as the undersides of the shelves are flat and the track can be positioned further out. This involved moving the hanging brackets but was no problem. The plexiglass door now hinges at the bottom with the clasps at the top. The cabinet looks great but special care is needed when putting the models in.

The item was delivered on time and in excellent condition. The quality of the item is very good and meets all of my expectations.

For this price, you get an excellent case for the money. They are made in China and nicely finished. Perfect for display of HO trains or other things you want to protect from dust and other atmospherics. Detailing was first-rate, so good I ordered not only a 2nd HO case but another one for my Z-scale trains.
