Customer Reviews

The gloves I received are not the same ones as pictured.
Randy Bramstedt
I use these gloves for cleaning and like them because they don't make my hands smell like latex.
Melanie B
I have above average size hands but the gloves are still very big & very loose fitting.

I needed to find some cheaper gloves than the Costco ones I had been buying. I am a full time care giver (mom's got Alzheimer's) and I need them in the bath room and I'll leave it at that. I looked around the web for cheap disposable gloves and saw that the vinyl were the cheapest. But the cheapness came at a price. The biggest complaint I found about vinyl gloves was that they would tear easily and I stayed away from the one's that got bad reviews. These gloves seemed to have some of the better reviews so I tried them. I have found them to be tough enough for what I am doing in the bath room which is cleaning, wiping, showering etc. I have been going through about 6 to 8 pair a day for the last week and none of them have split or tore. As other reviews have noted vinyl gloves are very slippery if your used to Nitril or latex. I have a box of Nitril gloves for changing oil on my cars and truck. These are so reasonably priced compared to others I tend to go through more of them. I will order again when the time comes.

I bought these so I could handle raw meat in food preparation. I found that these gloves leak through the many little pin-holes on them. At first I thought they must be texture spots or something, but as I worked with meat I took the gloves off and found my hands smelled of the spices I was using. I even felt a slight stickiness. This is very disappointing! I wanted these to keep my hands hygienic for my toddler.

Yes you can blow into these gloves and hold some air but you will notice how easy they are to pop by just squeezing lightly and the pin holes don't stand up to someone handling meat for a long time. This product works better for people handling fully cooked items and fruits/veggies.

Update: I decided to keep the gloves and I can use them for rubbing raw meat when I "double up". When I do this, I don't get "stinky" hands.

These gloves are nice and affordably priced. They really are one size fits all. I have smaller hands and they are way too big for me, but they also fit others in my household with much bigger hands. I don't mind that they are too large. If this would be an issue for you, you might consider a different product, but to me they are just fine. My only concern is that I use them when handling (and cutting) raw meats. While cutting these meats, I generally end up cutting one of the fingers off the glove and having to replace it. Minor inconvenience and it more than likely would not be an issue if I was more careful.

These are handy & inexpensive. I use them for more than cooking. They are great for cleaning up messes, cleaning the (yuk!) litter boxes, etc. I do wish they were a little bit smaller, but I have small hands. They work fine, anyway.

Loose fitting food handling gloves that are perfect for handling meat prior to grilling or any other food handling preparation. For just penneys a pair they are a great option.

I paid $15.87 for 2 boxes of 500 from Amazon sold by a different supplier with free S&H. Now I see they are $7.45 + 8.29 S&H. So, approx. $16 for 2 boxes with 1000 gloves. You must pay at least 5x that amount to get medical grade better quality gloves. I have large hands & these are loose especially around the wrist. They are very thin & clear. If the task does not require a snug fit & they won't tear or fall off -- these are adequate especially for the price.

I bought these to keep my hands clean while I cleaned my ducks pool and food bowls. I wanted to be able to pull the gloves off and have clean hands. Water goes right through the gloves. I tested them and placed my hand under running water, sure enough the gloves are porous and allow water to go right through. I wouldn't trust them for cleaning the bathroom or cat box either. I'm sure we will come up with a way to use the other 990 pairs we have left. I give them 4 stars because the box does show the gloves being used for food and does not promote them as cleaning gloves.

Warning. The picture of the product is not what is shipped. The quality is extremely poor and I will not purchase from this vendor again. The picture they are using is from a manufacturer that makes a good quality glove. The first 5 gloves were not sealed having open fingers. The next few tore shortly after being put on my hands. .. I have used disposable gloves on a daily basis for years and these are terrible.
