Sublime, ghostly, haunting and gorgeous, especially the "Kyrie summe Pater"; but all the pieces are just achingly perfect. If I could have my way, I'd give it TEN stars!!

Sweet, sublime voluptuous pieces. Deliciously and exquisitely executed.
The music and vocal work is so enchanting, it strangely seems to induce a peculiar drug-like/drug-infused ethereal trance or delirium in the listener (but a delicious delirium nonetheless!) Bravo, Huelgas Ensemble - and bravo, Paul Van Nevel! Absolutely one of my favorite CD's. Solid Five Star rating. Ken Cybulska |
