I come speaking to you as a Hardcore Techno fan. The Berzerker has, by being the most innovative band on earth, made me finally like something besides pure techno. The Berzerker's ultra-fast drum beats kick my subs harder than any Slipknot track ever could, and the warped guitar riffs are forever stuck in my head. I have experienced the music of Berzerker. It is now your turn. I advise you to buy this cd NOW!!

I cannot recommend this album enough. Many people criticize this band, accusing the fans of being seduced by the incredible speed of the drummer into ignoring the band's lack of musical talent. I have to say that these people are dead wrong.

This band doesn't just have a fast drummer, they have a good drummer. I've never heard anyone play with the fluidity and precision that this guy has. Not only that, but this album is chock full of really neat fills and grooves, along with ridiculously fast blastbeats that put Morbid Angel to shame.

If the drummer was the only saving grace to this album, then I wouldn't have rated as highly as I did. The guitarist and bassist also have admirable ability, and the riffs on this album are sure to get your head banging. If you listen to the final track, "Corporal Jigsore Quandary", you'll notice that it sounds almost exactly like the original version, performed by Carcass. The guitar solo is played almost note for note.

Finally, the two vocalists also make notable contributions to the music. The bassist has a terrific, low growl while the frontman, Luke, handles all the high-pitched screeching and hissing. They both effectively deliver the intelligent and depressing lyrics. I have seen this band live and they sound just like the recording. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise; the Berzerker have incredible technical and compositional skill.

All the songs on this CD are very enjoyable, especially "Paradox"; "Compromise"; "Failure"; "Death Reveals"; and "The Principles And Practices Of Embalming". I can't get enough of this CD and am highly anticipating their next tour and the upcoming DVD. If you are a fan of death metal, this CD is a must.

I just recently discovered The Berzerker and I have to say that I am blown away. I am a huge Nile fan and before listening to The Berzerker I thought no one came close to Nile in intensity, brutality and overall quality of music. If any band I have heard could come close its The Berzerker.

I 100% recommend this album to anyone who likes fast brutal death. This has to be one of my favorite albums of all time!
