Dissolve: Screenplays to the Films of Stan Brakhage: A Book of Poems [Paperback]

Randy Roark (Author)

Available from these sellers.

Book Description

August 2002
These poems, set as screenplays to Brakage's films, were written during a comprehensive retrospective screening in the Boulder, Colorado Public Library over a 7 month run between 2001-2002. Roark sets out to collaborate, wrestle, and dialogue with Brakhage's large opus of film. Along with comments by Brakhage at the beginning of poems, Roark's work dissolves and reconstructs itself towards towards the long poem narrative tradition of Pound's Cantos.
