About the Author

Jiro Taniguchi was born August 14, 1947 in Tottori, Japan. Influenced by European comic book masters - Moebius, Schuiten, Crespin - he worked together with Sekikawa and Utsumi before creating many solo albums. His work has been much lauded in his native Japan and Europe including top honors for both script and art at the Angouleme Festival in France.

If you could go back in time, would you be able to change things? This is the question that creates the story line of this graphic novel. I was attracted to the illustration, but the story kept me turning the pages. My only complaint? That is was only a two volume series. The story line was wrapped up and provided a satisfying ending, I really am not complaining at all. I will be purchasing more from this author and illustrator.

What if you could do it all again?
Both volumes are quite enjoyable, although on this one I was expecting a powerful finale which isn't there, the book still gets to deliver a good message.
