4.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first MTG anthology., August 22, 2006

This review is from: Distant Planes MM (Magic: The Gathering) (Mass Market Paperback)
The stories in this collection offer an excellent glimpse into the world of Magic the Gathering. Each story takes place in unique and detailed lands with fun and original plot lines. When compared to the previous MTG anthology (Tapestries), this book seems darker and more mature, with a greater level of depth to the storylines and characters. I enjoyed it much more, and look forward to reading the other anthologies.

As with most of the MTG books, prior knowledge about the game is not necessary to enjoy and understand the book.
