From the days as a nurse in London to the elegence and decadence of Italy, Jane struggles to build her life anew. Desired wherever she goes, she seems to be a passionate match for every man she meets.
When faced with financial ruin, Anita Burgh, decided to write her way out of the mess. Informing her bank manager that he should not worry about her overdraft since she was going to write a best seller, he cynically told her that he'd "heard that one before!" But she did. Distinctions of Class was published when she was 50. Making up for lost time she is now writing her 24th novel. Apart from writing she enjoys teaching - believing that while the ability to write is a gift, she can help hone those skills. She also mentors a small group of, as yet, unpublished novelists.
