This looked like fun so I bought it on a whim. I just tried it out. It came as 2 pieces but just needed to be snapped together. I tried it on lightweight muslin doubled up for a tiny bit of stability and it worked great. The stitches on the normal zigzag lined up perfectly. On the other stitches my machine has, they were close to perfect. If I had simply adjusted my stitch length they would have matched too. This will make for some more personalized projects. Love it.

This foot works on most low shank machines and moves fabric along with the feed dogs to create a ring or a flower design on fabric. Depending on how you set up your zigzag stitch, you get either a stitched ring of satin stitch, or a decorative flower.

There is a helpful new book on accessories to sewing machines The Sewing Machine Accessory Bible: Get the Most Out of Your Machine---From Using Basic Feet to Mastering Specialty Feet and it tells you how to better use this foot on your machine.

Some ideas include making large holes for curtains, accentuating print designs by covering with the embroidered flowers and making cutwork for tablecloths, napkins and other household items. A few flowers on a band sewn on a hand towel can make a welcome gift.

The instructions are good, but I suggest the book I mentioned for better info on fine adjustments you can make to get the best results, and for more ideas on how to use it.

I was hesitant to buy a brand name I didn't know, but I am very pleased that I did. I put the attachment on my machine as soon as I got it, very easy to do! After I got the length and width of the stitch set, I sewed circle after circle!! There are several size settings and after the stitch is set, the circles are perfect! Once you see the perfect circle this attachment makes, your imagination can run wild--Hope this helps and enjoy the circles.
