I bought this foot because my walking foot was on the fritz. I make and sell cloth diapers, and a walking foot is (or so I thought) integral to sewing with the waterproof PUL fabric I use for the outer part of the diaper. This teflon foot is 100% better than the walking foot, even when it was working properly. The fabric slides through evenly, yet you have very good control. I have a Brother CS-6000i, and this foot snaps right on to the low-shank. No matter what position the needle is in, it doesn't hit the foot at all. It will save me time, too, because I can use it for the construction of the whole diaper instead of switching between my regular foot and walking foot. This is a great product and for an excellent price.

I love this foot! Price is reasonable and fabrics such as oilcloth and PUL (polyurethane laminate) slide smoothly underneath without sticking. Snaps right into my Brother machine with no difficulty. Very happy with this purchase!

This presser foot is perfect for sewing over vinyl and similar materials. My only criticism is that the opening where the needle will pass through the fabric is almost too far forward. It makes it difficult to sew in reverse or sew over thick materials. But I can make do.

This is a fairly good presser foot, so long as you don't bend your needle. Should that happen, your sewing machine will punch right through it and that leads to doing so more often (at least, it does if you're sewing with a Viking. I'm unsure of how well a Brother would do against it, but I don't think it would have much trouble.) Since I sew heavy fabrics quite often, I've bent a few needles and the hole in it gets a little bigger each time I do. Bottom line, if you sew lightweight fabrics and you never bend a needle, it's probably a good buy for you. If, like me, you sew some heavy fabrics, I would recommend not getting this one.

I have checked all over, and this is by far the best price for this presser foot that I have found. No complaints.

My experience with this foot:

1. For some reason, my needle sits just to the right of the center slot (I have an older Kenmore machine). Because of this, I have to make sure I don't even glance at the position of the needle or it throws the line of my seam off. (Of course, I'm supposed to be looking at the markings to the side of my needle, anyway, to keep my fabric lined up.)

2. The snap-on/snap-off feature is great and my machine has no problem with it.

3. It seems that the teflon seems to slip a bit more than my original (broken) foot did, so I have to be careful with it or I find that the drag from my fabric slowly pulls the fabric aside. A crooked seam is the result.

4. However, after bending my needle sewing some heavy duty fabric using my original clear plastic presser foot and smashing the front of it to pieces, this foot at least allows me to use the machine. I had tried a couple other feet that I purchased locally, and this one was the best. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

I have tried dozens of methods to sew on vinyl, with limited success and/or ease. This teflon foot glides right over the vinyl without sticking. It is wonderful!

After having a serious problem with vinyl sticking to my metal presser foot, I found this Teflon presser foot and decided to give it a try as soon as I received it. I'm pleased to report that it solved the problem -- vinyl no longer sticks!

This foot worked perfectly! I used it on plastic vinyl. I even used it with three separate machines. It worked flawlessly. My only complaint is that I waited so long to purchase it. I honestly didnt think I needed it or that it would make that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong.

i received the product quickly, in good condition and the sewing foot worked as i expected. This was my first teflon sewing foot so i can't compare it to other brands but it made a world of difference, compared to a standard pressor foot, when sewing on vinyl. thanks.
