Looks real. Everyone who sees it thinks it is real until they touch it.
Too bad it isn't a little more lifelike to the touch. I love to watch
it breathe. My Dad who is 91 sleeps with it. It is a great comfort to
him having just lost his Bishon companion of 17 years. Amazon had the
best price and the service was excellent. It's educational value is
not that high because it doesn't do anything but sleep, but its lovability is
a 5 star.

For someone who wants a perfect pet without all the work, this is the way to go. It's cute and realistic.

I got this for someone with dementia as her dog is not in the best of health. She thought it was cute but didn't really take to it. It would help if it was alittle larger and the appendages were movable. Even the new soft version is hard in spots.

My wife has wanted a Shih Tzu puppy for years but we live in an environment that it's just not possible at the moment. I got her this Perfect Petzz Shih Tzu to put on the bed. The Shih Tzu is so real looking that it seems like he will open its eyes and start playing with you. My kids were disappointed that it wouldn't play with them not matter how many times they jabbed at it. The toy is durable. My only complaint. I didn't realize at first that the dog actually breaths. There is a motor that causes the stomach to move up and down. At first this was totally unexpected and amazingly realistic. As the motor wore in it just became annoying to listen to while we slept. So, I removed the battery and the Perfect Petzzz is now perfect. (Still hoping it will open its eyes and play someday.)

I bought this toy for my young client, who wasn't allowed to have real life pets.This was a great purchase. It was exactly what I wanted, and the transaction went very well.

Looks real and it is adorable. My two complaints are that there is no on/off switch and that the plate screws in rather than latches. If it latched than removing the battery each day would be easy. I am sure the purpose is to make this seem as realistic as possible. Nonetheless, we have thoroughly enjoyed our newly acquired addition.

Our friend is moving away and can't take her dog with her. So we got her a traveling companion (Perfect Petzzz Shih Tzu) which is exactly like her dog. Now all she has to do is lay this perfect replica on the seat next to her and she will never miss her.
