Good Comic,
This review is from: Divalicious! (Paperback)
Divalicious! was a good story, that had the same type of feel as her web comic As If! Although, As IF was by far better, this story was still entertaining and funny. I would highly reccomend this book to anyone. Amy Mebberson's style is witty, intellegent, and very deserving of the Tokoyo Rising Stars of Manga award.
I feel privilage in giving the first review at Amazon. :)

I've always been a big fan of both T Campbell and Amy Mebberson from web comics such as Penny and Aggie and As if!, and Divalicious! definitely lived up to the expectations they had created. I'd recommend it to any fan of their previous works, as well as any fan of comics in general.

Great Start!,

I was very happy to have gotten a copy of this from T while I was up visiting a mutual friend of ours in April. I read through - and though it took me a few pages to fall in with it (I am used to reading a slightly different manga style) - Once I picked up on it, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read, with a fabulous mixture of Cute and Cutting edge for the artwork - and a rather witty dig with jokes and wording on the writer's part. I'm looking forward to purchasing Divalicious! #2 when it gets released this coming February!

Lots of small stories about a diva and her manager. Really cute, great drawing, each story builds a little more to the diva.
But leaves you hanging. I only wish I had waited 'til a second one was out to buy it. Must know what's next! |
