This review is from: Dive Deeper (Audio CD)
I must start off by saying the truth. I do not own this CD yet (Although I just ordered it). But, I have however heard the full versions of 4 songs, and then sections of others.

Sugarhigh (9/10)*has heard full version* - The first single off of Dive Deeper. This song is really sweet and true. It has a nice R&B beat to it, but is also very uptempo at the chorus. It has a really nice twinkling effect in the background during the chorus that really adds to the bitter sweet mood of the song. Great choice for a first single.

Constant Talking (10/10) - This song is not only great sounding, but has an oh-so-true message to it. This song is about spreading rumors and how immoral it is. It includes many MANY conversations going on in the background hinting the fact that the character portrayed in the song is spreading tons of rumors...about everyone. "If your talking about them...What are you saying about me?"

Love Without Gold (9/10) - This song, like the previous, sounds great and has a great message. It's upbeat and the music has a hypnotic effect. The song is about staying together, even when the cash might not be flowing as much as you'd hope. Great song.

Down (8/10) - Down is on the verge of being mediocre. However, it is not. I haven't heard much of this song, but all I can say is that it is definately an aquired taste. I'm not sure what it's about.

Falling (9/10) - This song is SAD! In a good way though. It's a really slow ballad about falling in love, which is cliche, but the way she does it is oh-so-beautiful. Great song.

Sweet Memories (10/10) *Has heard full version* - This is the second single off of Dive Deeper, although it has not reached North America yet. As the first word of the song implies, this song is SWEET! It's bitter-sweet actually. It deals with moving on with life, leaving your friends behind, and always remembering the good times you had with them.

Forbidden Fruit (10/10) - I love this song! It's really fast paced and has a splash of latin flavor in it. It's a really cliche subject, about falling in love with someone you shouldn't, but her vocals and the beat really make the song a definite repeat song.

For Your Lessons (10/10) *Has heard full version* - CAN YOU SAY DEEP!? Holy [cow], this song is depressing. It's too hard to describe, but it's about learning from your mistakes and not repeating them. Jade did a WONDERFUL job of writing this masterpiece, and her vocals go along with the somber music.

Nothing More (10/10) - Bring on the sad tracks! These are great! This song is really sad, it's another "moving on" type of song, but...just wow. It's not as good as For Your Lessons, but definitely one of the best.

Before It Starts Again (10/10) - Quite possibly my favorite song on the CD. This is the best upbeat song on the CD...the chorus is just beautiful. It's message is a lighter version of For Your Lessons, but...yet again, wow.

Dive Deeper (9/10) *Has heard full version* - This song probably has one of the best messages on the CD. It's about how so many people are shallow, and refuse to be anything else. I just give it a 9 and not a 10 because it's emotion is a little undefined. I like the ocean noises in it though.

Who's Loving You Now (10/10) - Wow, this song did something that no others on this CD did. It pulled off an uptempo ballad. The chorus is a little repititive "Who's loving you now? Who's loving you now? Who's loving you now? Who's loving you now?" But this song is beautiful.

You Held Me (10/10) - From the part I heard, there were no instruments. But this song is beautiful. It uses background singers to make up for instruments. It's another one of the really sad tracks! Gotta love those!!!

Overall, this CD is worth your money if you like this style of music. Jade isn't big yet, but she will be. How can she not with that voice!?
