"Dive Like A Pro" was a nice dive checklist for me.,

I found "Dive Like A Pro" to be a very handy review. I haven't been diving in a while, and it was a great source for condensed common-sense tips and reminders. I found the format very user-friendly, and the content very readable. Like all common sense advice, you could figure much of this out on your own, but why learn it the hard (and dangerous)way when you can have it spoon fed to you by an expert? I liked it!

This makes a fine edition to a beginning diver's text. I enjoy reading Rob's articles in "Dive Training Magazine" and this text is a good representation of his easy to follow tips. I probably wouldn't have purchased the text for myself, as this copy was a gift, but I did find it informative. Informative in the respect, that it gave me new ways of explaining tips of the trade to student divers.

Good information but save yourself the money and re-read your diving manual. Virtualy all the same information is in there. The book also suffers from poor editing. It's not a bad book just redundant if you have a PADI, NAUI, SSI, or other openwater divers manual.

So much information in a consise easy to read format, it should be a reference book for all divers and instructors! Mr. Rossier has taken the multitudes of articles he's written for Dive Training magazine, coupled them with the many years of experience gained from diving all over the world with a list of whos who in diving and turned this info into a easy to read and understand handbook for budding aquanauts and seasoned, all to wet veterans.

This book is more like a pamplet then an in-depth book; I read through it in about two hours. Most topics are covered in just a few paragraphs and offer no detailed examples/photos or graphics. I few good tips, but most are very general and based on common sense. One gem was on how you should avoid getting drunk before diving (da..). You will not feel like a pro after reading this. There are probably better and more in-depth books on diving technique.

The best diving book available.,

In "Dive Like a Pro", Rossier has managed to create a book that will teach beginners and experts alike, without becoming either condescending or tedious. Written with a touch of humor and an air of humanity that suggest Mr. Rossier has actually been there, "Dive Like a Pro" can effectively complement the dull, dry textbooks currently used in training. It has also become the most worn reference book on the shelf of this seasoned diver. "Dive Like a Pro" is a must-have for anyone who's ever even considered donning a tank.

Good book for beginners. Not much depth to the topics covered that would be of much use to experienced divers. In fact, I don't think there was much in the book that is not covered in most basic dive course manuals.

Dive Like a Pro was a great addition to my diving library. The book is a fantastic resource to have at hand. It's a concise manual with tips on everything from saving your breath to maintaining your gear. Rossier's writing is clear, and his instructions are easy to follow. I bring my copy with me every time I go diving. It's small enough to fit easily in my dive bag. If there is a diver in your family he or she needs this book.
