A re-hash of Best Dive Sites of the World.,
By Ned Middleton (British professional underwater photo-journalist & author) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER)
This review is from: Dive The World (the most fascinating diving sites) (Paperback)
Previously published under the title "Best Dive Sites of the World," this book is a rehash of old and tired material.
These publishers have a reputation for repeating information from one book to another without any thought given to the person who might buy their products. There are several books currently available claiming to show the "top" or "best" dive sites of the world and this is a very poor attempt to compete by using a collection of whatever material was available in order to add something on the same theme. What a pity they did not read previous criticisms and "then" go out and find something new. Even the front cover photograph is taken from the previous title "The Maldives Diving Guide." Quite frankly, my dear, they don't give a damn! NM |
