5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing January 9, 2007
By A. Zipp
Format:Audio CD
It's hard to find music like this. It's a little like a film score, but it doesn't really sound like there is supposed to be a visual accompaniment like those often do. Really beautiful piano playing, at times very melancholy, without ever sounding pretentious or cheesy. I could easily imagine drinking a bottle of good wine and staring at the ceiling on a rainy evening to this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unblieveably AMAZING!! September 10, 2007
Format:Audio CD
If music was the language of the soul...this would be the greatest thing ever written. It is now the soundtrack for my days - filled with motivation, peace, understanding, renewal, and happiness. What a wonderful gift Ludovico Einaudi has given us. His talent = our treasure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent piano (et al.) compositions January 19, 2008
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Unlike some of the albums purchased based on listening to one or two tracks on the digital cable 'Soundscapes' music channel, this one is well worth investing in if you like that kind of music. Since I rarely do reviews, the fact that I'm spending the time to do this is indicative of how much I enjoy this album. It should be a must-buy for those who like classical piano, space/New Age music or (as I believe it was described somewhere) "acid jazz". Sorry, for a more in-depth review, see those who are more articulate than I am.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even bettter than I expected it to be August 8, 2008
By marla
Format:Audio CD
I often have "Soundscapes" on during the day, but do not leave on the TV monitor, as I cannot always see it. However, when I do hear a song that grabs my attention, I will walk over and turn on the monitor to see the name and the artist of the song. Many times over the last months, I would see that the song was by Ludovico Einaudi, so many times, in fact, that I eventually bought this album. What a great decision that was! I own hundreds of New Age or instrumental CDs by great artists, but this is superlative music. There are no weak or throw-away cuts here, just powerful, emotional sounds that will grab your heart and not let go. For the first week, I never listened to anything else, and now I listen every night before bed, have it on my iPod for my car. Einaudi is a masterful musical talent; you will not be disappointed if you chose to add this one to your library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Roll over Beethoven March 6, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I first heard Einaudi on an Arts program, then came over to Amazon to listen to more. At first I considered his piano solos, but, after reading the reviews, purchased this orchestrated version. An unbelievable CD. The piano is the soulful center to an orchestra that includes a synthesizer. Many moods from lilting to powerful crescendos. Post-modern classical music at its finest.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Beautiful........ January 7, 2010
Format:Audio CD
I never thought I would be listening to music like this (especially the piano), but after I listened to this CD, it left me breathless. Part New Age, part Instrumental, part Classical, part Electronic, and part Ambient. Very nice indeed. Do yourself a favor and purchase this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars CANNOT GET ENOUGH! December 7, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I hadn't heard of Ludovico Einaudi until recently, now I'm hooked on him. I love all of his piano pieces, particularly "Primavera" which is my favorite, "Uno" a close second. I discovered Einaudi (and other artists I like) on the Echoes radio program. Echoes has new age type music, sometimes a little too way out, but occasionally I've found new artists I've become very fond of in the last few years. Ludovico Einaudi's music is sensuous and relaxing, so much so, it sometimes sends me off into a trance and lulls me to sleep. I suffer from chronic insomnia, so it is very welcome! He plays with so much feeling that I want more of him, he really touches my soul. I checked out all his music and decided "Ludovico's Divenire" CD and "I Giorni" are the best so I bought both, and I'm very happy with my purchase. He has a classical sound, and is modern at the same time, very unique. I cannot imagine anyone not liking this CD, it is now one of my top favorites.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning from beginning to the end... September 28, 2011
By blkcats
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
There isn't one piece of music on this CD that isn't worth listening to time and time again. That is how Ludovico Einaudi plays each piece of music with such intensity, beauty and talent that both my spouse and I never tire of these stunning piano pieces. Listening to them brightens and fills our senses with sounds, which we long to hear again and again. Bravo!
