Kind of disappointed as the directions were not color coded for installation. Should consider setting up a video on YouTube.

Works as advertised, once you get 24v AC running to it the alarm sounds. The silence button stops the alarm but keeps the light on. NOT NEARLY LOUD ENOUGH THOUGH! With this installed in the furnace room in my basement, I cant even hear it through a stub wall ! Not much more use than manually checking the pan... I need to find a louder solution!

I wanted to protect my furnishings from water damage, should I have a condensate pump failure. It works as advertized, and expected.

Following the instructions provided with the alarm, I installed this alarm on my Diversitech condensate pump. When I forced an alarm condition it failed to alarm. I then checked the instructions provided with the pump and found them to be different. I connected the alarm according to these instructions and acheived the same result My next step is to have it checked by an HVAC technician. So far it's a zero.
