The Concept of Organization as a Cornerstone,
By Uri Milstein, Ph.D. (Israel) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Divided Attention: Organizers And Non-Organizers, High Organizing Abilities And Divided Attention Capacity (in Hebrew) (Gome) (Hebrew Edition) (Hardcover)
The origin of Intellectuality is thinking on the sheer possibility of intellectuality, or in terms of the ancient Greek philosophers: the effort to salvage Intellectuality, at least after making known the Zeno Paradoxes. Michael Sharon, one of the most original intellectuals in today's Israel, contributed to these lasting efforts a surprising contribution in his book "Divided Attention".According to Sharon, Intellectuality is originated in Organization. The pre-eminence of Man over animals is rooted in his ability to organize information, and the pre-eminence of man over another is inherent in the quality of information organization. Michael Sharon distinguishes in his fascinating and highly interesting book between uni-focal or one dimensional organization of most people and muli-focal organization of talented, very talented and genius or eminent people. In a similar vein, also the concept of "Organization" was in use before the research project of Michael Sharon, but Sharon turned it by a virtuoso brilliant thinking into a Cornerstone not only in understanding intelligence, but also in understanding reality per se.

I much enjoy reading Sharon's online writing, which complement his theories and practical ideas from the book. When is the English edition coming out?

Mr Sharon is known to be a most profound and thorough writer. It is obvious a great deal of work was invested in the work which should be read by proffessionals, scholars and everyone who takes interest to the functions which lie in the basis of our daily operations.
