A Must See For All,
By
This review is from: Divided We Fall: Americans in the Aftermath (DVD)
An extremely important and poignant piece of filmmaking that takes a unique look at modern America, its people, and their perceptions of one another. Analyzes the psychology behind racially/ethnically motivated backlashes, and demonstrates the horrific consequences of misplaced fear, ignorance and hate.

An extraordinary look at post-9/11 America,

Anybody hoping to understand race in America should watch this film. I watched a screening at an all-girls, mostly white Catholic school, and the students were clearly as moved as I was -- and I had tears in my eyes.

This documentary is a must see for all. The timing of the release of this film could not have been better. The the new hope for the future of the country that the resent political outcome has given us can be attributed to the young people that have made it happen. This film has come from one of those people. A young girl who was only twenty when she started her seven year journey. Entering the whirlwind of those tumultuous days of 9/11 and the aftermath not knowing what to expect took great courage. Then with creative and a keen insight for what needs to be told, she produced this remarkable film. This film carries the message of new hope. The message of tolerance and compassion for all our citizens regardless of race or religion. I recommend it highly. I feel it should be shown in all schools.

This documentary looks at post 9/11 racism and hate crimes directed at members of the Sikh community across the US. It is extremely moving, enlightening, heartbreaking, and brilliant. The two film makers behind this documentary tapped into an important part of racism in America that has/is destroying innocent families and people's lives. 5-Stars. A must see that as someone above mentioned is completely relevant.
